I saw and met the band last night... I got to scream "I'll cut off your horns", and "If you could see like me you'd see, you haven't won anything!" INTO THE MIC!!! Best night ever man... SO glad I went. Micah's a very nice person, too.

It’s obvious that Micah is speaking very carefully because I remember at the time this came out it was a huge discussion in the church. Some thought it was satanic and some really resonated with it. They have my respect for writing a very intense and very spiritual album. Son of the Morning is hard to hear knowing who the Finisher is. That’s good writing.

bands like this make me super happy i am a musician because it helps me have somethin to look forward to when i wright. and i love it when theres a lot of biblical terms in a song. to me it shows their maturity. this guy is truly an inspiration same with the rest of the band. all very humble people.

These guys are phenomenal writers. When I actually followed their lyrics i was purely inspired. The whole concept of the son of the morning vs the finisher as a beginning and last song to an album is fukin awesome.

It's interesting, I've heard people talk like that and they look you right in the eye or they look at the ground but Micah here look into the sky every time he says God. To me that shows he has more real faith than anyone I've ever met. Kudos to him for that. and the imagery from the new CD is astounding Sucks they couldn't make the Toronto show with BMTH and ETID.

I have seriously never been so moved by the lyrics of a song like I was with "The Finisher". The whole world needs to hear this. Keep it up and COME BACK TO TEXAS! (College Station, perhaps...?) Ha, I'll get all of you "Saw 'Em Off" shirts! (Psalm 75:10 printed on it in reference to A&M's rivalry with UT) I believe it's a common theme in "The Finisher" as well...Y'all could definitely rock those on stage! Ha, Let's make it happen!

this is the second best concept album ever, everything is done so perfectly. the only Concept album or band that is better than this to me is coheed and cambria just because theyve made four entire albums telling one huge cohesive story. but this album and concept is amazing. definitly my favorite metal/hardcore band now.

oh sleeper and august burns red are easily the best lyrical/musical christian bands out there..their stuff is better than most other bands too. the conviction in their lyrics are a refreshing taste compared to the more popular mainstream bands out there.

@loganwoods At least that's your understanding of it. Exactly. Some things are vague. It also states in the Gospels that we will get glorified bodies. The Koran also says we will get glorified bodies on the day of Resurrection. This is nothing to fight over and get angry. Christians really need to calm down. Everyone isn't an enemy.
