We have been metal detecting thie old 1600's farm field for the past month or so and digging up some of the earliest coins and coolest pieces we may have ever found! Now we just got access to the adjacent property so the field that keeps on giving just doubled in size! The orignal settlers built early houses and trading posts right up again a creek tributary that runs right through the woods line behind us so this field was riddled with early activity all throughout the area. Once we fire up the detectors and move into the right spots there's just no telling what's going to be found!

Doug, Charlie, Quarter Hoarder are heading to Boone Iowa for a hunt at the huge Camp Hentesa. About 200 detectorists will be there for natural hunting along with a few short seeded hunts to spice up the day a little. Tons of prizes given out and loads of fun. One of the best organized hunts we go to!
