Bloody hell, this is awesome ! Had the privilege of seeing this amazing band at Liveroool Arena last year!! Anyone who has the chance of doing the same , go for it!! You won't be disappointed!!!
Another pillar in this Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac is Dave Goldberg on Keyboards, Guitar and Vocals. Whether he is backing up other members or lead vocals as in this video, Dave truly compliments the show. I enjoyed the Peter Green selection and I learned some Fleetwood Mac history. I started listening to Fleetwood Mac when Bob Welch was in the group.
Bought this DVD a few months back, so much more than what we see on RU-vid, I have just about worn mine out. Bloody fantastic the whole band. Be a bottler if you can come to Australia when this stupid virus finally buggers off.
Just WOW BLINDING. Peter was an amazing person who we lost way before his time. I know how he lost the plot but he had so much more music in him. I REMEMBER!
Rumours of Fleetwood Mac are so good that they actually move beyond the classification of "tribute band". They are simply a great rock and roll band who happen to draw their material exclusively from the vast song reserve of one of the greatest rock bands in music history. I've seen the "real" FM a couple times but I'd love to see this band (in the States) as well.
Thanks Jim! This year was our first N.American tour. Started in Canada and finishing Florida .. 20 major dates. Hopefully back for longer touring 2019. Keep track over on our site. Best from all at RFM! www.rumoursoffleetwoodmac.com/
Recently purchased a ‘learn to play Peter Green’s-Fleetwood Mac, tab book, due to this performance. I’ll never be able to but a boy can dream. Fantastic work folks!
That's what I LOVE about these tribute bands, they have the freedom to go to the deepest, darkest and most obscure songs that the original band wrote and recorded but hardly or if ever played live. Man, this is really really good stuff right here.
This band is amazing, not only because they play very well but also because they focus on the Peter Green era instead of going the easy way with the Buckingham/Nicks era.
WOWWWW I remember enjoying 1969 all of it,.. the music, people and the solid safe cars we drove & wen ya hit something solid ya would just scratch it and not rite the thing off like today's rubbish.... But this here Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac 2018 definitely aint rubbish...love what you guys are doin.... like I said WOWWWW
Just saw them last nite here in CA... EXCELLENT SHOW ... Saw FLEETWOOD MAC last year... not to compare...because original is original...but RUMOURS were very polished and perfect in their own way... FANTASTIC SHOW !!! Go if you can ...
Saw the original FM several times in the 70s and early 80s and they never ever played this one. One of my favorites pre Lindsey/Stevie....outstandingly done here, no surprise though, this band is awesome.
All due respect but … really? Lindsey Buckingham picked up this song and there are multiple live takes from various tours on this site. Also on the "Live"" album. That said, Dave Goldberg leads an amazing take on this classic!
WOW! Was always aware of Fleetwood Mac and liked some of their stuff. This has been one of my favourite songs for many years and this is a spectacular version! ROFM are brilliant and have really got me into FM. Great stuff
Hardly an upgrade. Original had multiple guitars as well as percussion. More of a "spot on" cover, at least regarding the core riffs. Nothing beats the original, performed by the souls who created the riffs (Peter Greene) and lead/accompanying work (Danny Kirwin). It came out of their spirits and you could feel it.
