Hey guys, so last Tuesday I went snowboarding and unfortunately I fell on my left hand with all my body weight. The medic on the piste said that it’s probably just a bruise or a small twist because there was not that much visible swelling. But nevertheless I still went to the hospital to get it checked up. They did an X-ray and it was a hairline fracture on the wrist(radius to be precise I think). So they had to put on a cast. The big cast will be there approximately 4 weeks and then a smaller one for 2 weeks. Yes as you saw in the video I could scramble but really slowly because I cant move my wrist. So I can’t practice oh or 2h. I had comps planned for march and they were meant to be my first comps of the year. But I am not sure if I’ll go, there are just too many variables. If my cast is off, If I still get good times, or even if I’m still motivated. I have a check up in 10 days along with an X-ray. The chances of the fracture going away then are slim. But I’m really hoping that it’s alright and I can get back to cubing soon considering that I was improving really fast on onehanded and I would say I was very very close to averaging one handed. If you’re still there thank you for reading this.
