You remember their beauty and you wish you could have made it better so they would have stayed. My little brother shot himself and I think this video and song captures the feelings of those they leave behind perfectly. It has been years but the pain never dies it just finds a quiet place to live in your soul.

He wrote this from his moms perspective about his aunt commiting suicide when he was 6..i follow him on insta😭 she showed no signs noone had any warning n she seemed so happy ..he only writes n sings about real ppl and situations..that n his voice is why his music hits SOO hard 👆😭😭

The video seems happy most of the way through to get the message across that even if someone you love seems so happy if you could see inside that person you may find a trouble soul, the person disguises it very well on the outside which gives their loved ones no clue what is really going on until unfortunatly it is too late to help them.

The video is made the way it is for that very purpose; the images are sweet and designed to show that everything is 'fine' - but it's only if you're paying attention to the lyrics that you start to think "hang on, something's not right here..." And then that dictates how you feel at the end when you get the reveal - if you were only looking at the surface-level images you're like "Wait - what the hell...?" but if you had already picked up on the lyrics you're like "Damn, I KNEW it! Shit, that sucks." And that's often how it goes in real life as well; people only looking on the surface level just assume everything's fine and don't question anything, while those who see deeper feel concerned, but are afraid to 'break the bubble' of the person trying so hard to put up the happy facade, in case they 'make things worse' ... and then wish they had said something when they still had the chance.

It is confusing. Society doesn't see depression as an actual illness.

If the video depicted the real meaning this song wouldn't be half as popular. *_My opinion_*
