That isn't even the tip of the financial iceberg yet in terms of what's ahead for her. The violations are so egregious that an immense, unending storm cloud of litigation will blacken her horizon for years to come. The HIPPA violations alone will likely spur a class action suit. If there's a malpractice carrier I would anticipate the carrier will either try to disclaim coverage; or failing that, try to set the entire policy limits in a recovery fund and try to walk away from the case, to avoid millions in legal defense costs over years of litigation.

@@clambroth1923 I would like to read the report of the boards' decisions, but the articles and videos I have seen don't reference any HIPAA violations, so you seem to be speculating greatly.

The real question is what the standard of care for each position was. Saying there were no medical professionals is a very blanket statement, particularly without mention of what should have been the minimum standard. To imply there were none in the facility is likely inaccurate. Also, to only cite 1 patient per year (3 from 2020-2022) is interesting. Surgical site infection rates typically are reported as 0.5-3% (usually not permanently complicated). She was doing hundreds per month. To have only 3 that were notable is interesting but far below that rate.
