Glad you enjoyed it. I was just in this same spot 2 or 3 hours ago. And found 2 scrapers laying out on the bank right above where I found this bird point
Finally back out there! I enjoy the hell out of your artifact hunts. I think you’re one of the best searcher’s I’ve ever run across. When to get going, you’re unstoppable! Could find anything!👍🔥🐿
Rocks always learn from your artifacts ...saw a couple points I got somewhere going through stuff in garage and said hey that's a scraper, have a good week :-)
Yea it is not to bad. It is hard digging though. It is a shame all those weeds and logs are in there. If I could get more in my screen I would find like 20 points I think in a trip. I think there were arrowheads laying all around me in the water. Anyplace i stopped. Just hard to find them down in that mud
I love the chalcedony point, but the fish spear is my favorite. Beautiful finds, the chopper is very cool. Weathering a hurricane here tonight and tomorrow!❤
Nice points ! The material that hand chopper was really interesting looking. Don't remember you pulling up any thing made of that before. Looks like you had a great day at the river ! :~)
Yea that hardstone was really beautiful. It must have fallen right out of that cut with that bird point. That area looks real good for more finds. i am going back
Great places here in NC, there's several major trade routes that cross paths and lead to major meeting areas so many different arrow, spear heads, & tools from far away Tribes
Another awesome hunt Rocks , was just wondering do you ever sell any points and artefacts only reason ask is at least Id know they would be authentic if purchased from you cheers Andrew
Oh it 100% is. More like 110%. I have looked that place for 30 years. I have probably 50 classic examples from the same spot. You are OUT OF YOUR DEPTH Chief.
