Where do Ohio’s water resources come from? How are they used by citizens and industry? How can we best use and protect Ohio’s water resources in the years to come?
Devon Goeller, hydrogeologist with the Ohio Geological Survey, discusses water basics, such as the water cycle, aquifer types and locations, water uses, and how the Survey monitors water levels. And Eric Saas, H2Ohio Program Manager, describes recently completed ODNR projects and those currently underway as part of ODNR’s efforts to protect Ohio's surface and groundwater resources. Learn more about Ohio's water resources at geology.ohiodnr.gov. And learn more about the H2Ohio Program at h2.ohio.gov.
