Take away Tate last week, all the NY office had was a sandwich tweet (that was irrelevant days later) and a few Mets/Yankees streams. Tate made NYC office relevant for the first time in months.

Why does Tommy think he's hot shit all of a sudden? Clearly when Tate is talking shit about the NYC office, it's more so about the content in the office. The day-to-day unplanned shenanigans at their desks. Back when everyone was in NYC, there was so much great content coming out of just random conversations at their desks. This is what needs to be brought back. Tate would do it. I feel like Tommy and Pat are thinking Tate's criticism of NYC is from the shows and podcasts being released, when really it's not. It's the overall culture and day-to-day commentary. They absolutely need Tate's vibes. It'll benefit everyone out there. How can no one see this?
NY office is so easy to hate. When all the talent went to Chicago it exposed the dead weight in NYC. Work a few hours, generate very little revenue for the company but they think they are entitled to their six figure salaries.
Here's the thing, when Tate says "nobody works in the NYC office" the people who actually do good work couldn't care less. Why would they? Their stuff stands on merit. It's the people who know he's right about their work that get fired up. That's why he's fine with most of that office. Nobody successful is worried about what Tate has to say about their work or work ethic.
Which is so weird to me that Klemmer has been ruffled by this. He's not everyone's cup of tea, bit he tries, he mixes it up and Rat Race has at least been successful enough to get sold. He's not one that Tate is calling out.

Realistically there’s no reason for any content to be in NY anymore. All those bloggers can blog from home, they don’t generate any content outside of their blog. And all the podcasts there don’t interact with anyone outside their pod.
The NY Office always asks what Tate is going to do for content if he goes to NY but what have any of them done for content? Like 90% of that office gets no views and costs the company money lol
Most of Barstool NYC should be on part time contracts. If Dave put Lil Sas on a part time contract for his lack of Barstool content then that should apply to 85% of the NYC office. Barely anyone in NYC makes any relevant content outside of Frank the Tank, Chicks in the office and the foreplay guys and the latter 2 don't engage in any office content.

Love it or hate it, mixing it up with each other and creating some conflict will save the NY office. Barstool and barstool radio was built on those arguments and interactions. Now everyone in NY wants to just do their own reaction videos and stuff and go home, and they’ve turned into the exact same thing as every single other vanilla internet media company.
I agree with this. I can’t tell if he’s doing a bit when he says that or not because I agree the day to day vibes aren’t the same as in Chicago as it is in NY but that’s also prob bc the big personalities just do their shows and then leave. Like I don’t think Tate going there would change anything.
