Cars can move on flat/ slashed tires. I've seen cars running from cops doing 50mph riding on rims only after cops employ spike strips. This lady made up her mind what she wanted to do. She had a easy self defense case, then she messed that up when they walked away and she restarted the drama with threats. This is the number one reason why owners of firearms need to take self-defense training. The training not only teaches safety and defense but also the laws for your state that are considered self-defense. In my opinion, she did a lot of wrong and right things. She called 911 and should have said I am fearing for me and my unborn childs life . Once the window was broken , tires slashed, and any other unseen acts of aggression were shown. She had every right to defend. She created a biased situation by recording with no fear in her voice of being victimized and reacting after the fact of aggression and not during. The issue is going to be up to a jury. My people learn the laws in your state for what is considered self-defense. AFTER any self-defense shooting, ask for two things: an ambulance/EMT AND LAWYER. Answer no questions without an attorney being present.

My question is how is it self-defense when the two girls actually walked away and the defendant kept taunting them.. then they came back to the vehicle.. when a person walks away from a crime how is that self-defense when the defendant actually drove her flat tired car to wash them taunting them again provoking them to come over to the car just so she can shoot them SMH I can see if she shot them while they were vandalizing and assaulting her but she didn't do that instead they walked away and she kept taunting them to come back pure. I agree everybody should know their rights and I think she posted the video cause she saw the writing on the wall. All involved made mistakes and it sucks someone lost their life and two more ruined. She could've tried to drive away but they could've walked away and not came back. Once they walked away the first time they should've kept going. They came back even when she said if you hit me again you getting 👏🏾. That was more than enough warning for me and she was literally a sitting duck.

She could've easily claimed self defense, but the "clap" comments might've been an angle for the prosecutor to spin the narrative. What she should've said is "I have a firearm and I will protect myself and my baby" (3 times) while on the phone with the police OR while recording. That way her defense would've been clear cut. Y'all gotta learn these laws if you're gonna carry. If you have a CCW, I strongly suggest getting an NRA Membership. They'll send a lawyer to your location immediately. The issue with the law is they’ll say she had several opportunities to drive off to safety before ultimately defending herself by shooting them both. I feel it could be stand ya ground in a state like Florida but in others they prefer you to run to safety not taunting the attacker knowing you have a firearm. Not taking sides but in the video she tells them after they walked away to come back and she’d clap them. Now the attackers were most definitely in the wrong attacking that lady after vandalism to her vehicle. Now they of course the one that survived wants to cooperate with police although she kept it moving after she was initially walking off. I’m almost certain this was definitely over the man in which she was impregnated by.

Actually had this same situation happened to me and I was charged with murder for protecting myself and defending myself especially me not being in from the state I live in I didn’t know anything about the laws of Tx I did everything right by putting police reports in and asking for help from the police but they didn’t help me at all! I was currently pregnant just like this young lady I was bout to be jumped by 5 girls and her they came to my apartment to fight me we did eventually fight even after I told the security guards of the apartments and because I brought a weapon to a fight it was just me I protected myself and she wound up on her death bed I prayed for tht girl to get up and live and she did but I did have five years of probation and restitution but I learned a valuable lesson and I ain’t been in trouble since then! I pray this young lady get the right justice and she can live her life out in the free world in not in jail Ik how this young lady is going through

And we know the girl that was shot wasn’t paying for those damages and the damage that would have happened to the girl protecting herselfs rims if she tried to drive off, she probably don’t even have a job. Not Guilty!!!! RIP to the victim however she FAFO. There is no sympathy for none of that goofy stuff the victim was doing. She had a knife and rock and was doing damage. She waited too long to shoot her. She didn’t empty the entire magazine inside of her. Go to trial and I’m sure she is going to walk away from this.

I'm from Cleveland, Ohio. What happened here is self-defense! I don't understand why southern Ohio ain't following the law. Up here in Northeast Ohio, I pray don't nobody try me like that because instead of one being gone, they both gone be gone.

My thing is/was, if you were going to shoot her and claim self defense, why didn’t she do that while they were at her car the first time throwing rocks and slashing tires? Why would she wait until they walk away, and then roll up to where they were walking, to stop and talk to get them to come back to your vehicle? Thats why the prosecutors feel like they gotta case with this one here. Too many dumb moves by all the parties who were involved unfortunately.

You’re 100% right! She couldn’t just drive away!!! Those girls should have never started any physical violence or intimidating behavior. I said she had the right to protect herself and see how the girl pulled the gun on somebody in the past ….. she definitely had reasoning to believe her life was being threatened. I pray that girl don’t see one day in jail. I also sent prayers out to all families in the situation because it’s a tragedy that anybody’s life had to be lost.

Bullys think they own people they abuse. Like its their right to torment someone they see as physically weaker. Its a shame it took making this individual unalive to insure the victim wasnt seriously harmed.
