Absolutely useless. I received mine on Monday afternoon, Tuesday was spent trying to get it to work, it wouldn't accept postcodes, it kept freezing, it told me I was in one village when in fact I was four miles away. This morning,( Wednesday) it went back Don't waste your hard earned.
I’m actually looking for a new one, a new nav system for my pickup (phone apps connectivity sucks sometimes) I was gonna go with one of those CarPlayBox thingies but maybe I’ll research up on this one too
On the video it seems to give direction in some parts relatively close to roundabout etc. Would you say it's a bit late or just right? Hard to tell when not driving and just watching. Thank you
@@JamesTravis Waze is my favourite navigation app on my phone and better than any standalone satnav I’ve used. It’s community driven so informs you of user reported potential hazards, poor weather and police speed traps ahead.
The satnav indicates which lane to use on some roundabouts but not all. Is there a reason it doesn't provide lane guidance for every roundabout? Are there other satnavs that give lane directions for all roundabouts?
DON’T buy unless you want to spend your life going around in circles whilst lost. Ok on motorways but after that it will take you on a magical mystery tour
Ohrex is not the owner of the satnav data, it comes from a generic software used by many low-end satnavs. One thing that is very important to truck drivers is the versatility of import route plans from external sources, for example, What3Words. I did not see any Bluetooth capability.
Am enjoying your videos, they are so helpful. Have 3rd test upcoming in the future, thank you for your hints and tips and friendly approach on your videos it is much appreciated 😊
I have this Sat Nav. I am a HGV driver and I got this because it was cheap. It tried taking me onto roads which literally weren't even there. On the Sat Nav it was showing a right turn but there was not a right turn. Then on another occasion it was showing an exit on a roundabout which once again was not there. And another occasion it tried taking me into a construction site as it thought it was a through road.
@@JamesTravis I’m just looking for something that’s better than my iPhone apps, the navigation isn’t that great on them, and the signal always goes in and out well in route which is kind of a bother
If it has Bluetooth and you were not aware, then you put the satnav in a low worth. OHREX N76 Bluetooth Sat Nav 798, 7 inch with UK Europe Maps 2024(Free Lifetime Update), Satnav for Car Truck Lorry HGV LGV Motorhome, Speed Cam Alert, Post codes, Lane Guidance
