I've had my Copic markers spray ink before, it was the chisel end and it was because I colored too quickly and the nib was very juicy. I have also had Sharpie and Ohuhu do it before too.
Thanks for sharing this! I had no idea why that happened but that makes sense! After using all kinds of brands I'd never had that happen before lol. Thanks for watching!
Some high quality alcohol markers need to have their caps opened in two steps. First you barely open the cap to let the air pressure to get to equilibrium, then you completely remove the caps. Opening the caps abruptly in one go over and over make the nibs to refill like a sponge, over time they'll leak like hell. Same happen if you agitate the marker. I know some friends who open and close the caps with their resting hand while stressed or focused. This is a nasty habit, the ink gets constantly pumped out.
Thank you for comparing Arrtx with Ohuhu and Copics! I have been wanting markers that can have a good skin tone (Ohuhu is too dark) and also be as muted in colour as Copics but not have Copic prices. When I saw how similar in colour Arrtx was able to get to both brands of markers, it impressed me with its range of colours which convinced me to buy it after a year long search for “the” markers! I absolutely love them and the range of colours do not disappoint! Btw, the 168 set does have a colourless blender! Thank you once again!!!
Please draw more men! He's so mischevious looking lol. I'd love to see you do a tutorial on blending, i always switch between two markers to blend but your way seems so smooth, and you only use one marker! awesome work
Keep it up! There are times when I still find it hard, but drawing guys from real life makes it easier. I usually draw male actors that I like to make it more fun Haha.
Love this one too. 😻 Your art style is definitely one of my favorite on RU-vid. And I love watching these market color challenges. I was also thinking about getting some Arrtx markers so I'm glad you did this video. I was wondering if possible can we get at least one page now to color? Just a single one that you've colored before in a video so I can 1. Color one of your your amazing pieces as well as 2. practice with markers and know I'm doing a good job by comparison? I wanted to use a video as well as one of your pieces for reference purposes?
Theres sooo many brands lol. So that helps when it comes to doing comparisons. I don't think I'll ever run out of comparisons because of how many brands of alcohol markers there are. But thank you for always watching! It means so much to me! =)
I would love to see you "fix" your artworks that you are less than satisfied with digitally! Itd be super cool to see how your decision making changed after seeing the finished product with markers
I definitely like the idea of having been through a lot of wars. Especially since my inspiration came from Ares the God of War lol. Thanks for watching! =)
I love your videos! Can you do Art-n-Fly vs Ohuhu vs Artxx vs Bianyo, like a pic cut in half, one half art fly the other half sectioned by 3 and the left side be Art n fly and the other half with 3 sections is the other 3 markers? I think it'd be cool since you've tried so many markers. Idk maybe too much eh? 😁 Anyway if you try Art n fly coukd you compare them to these? I really enjoy your videos! 😊
That would make for an interesting video! Lol but it might be a little confusing after a while. Even for me as far as trying to keep track of the specific sections. But I'll definitely try out Art n Fly and see about comparing them with other brands! Thanks for the suggestion! =)
I just got your videos in my recommendations and I’m three for three with guessing. I guessed earth(first video i watched) then Saturn now Mars! I guess watching all of sailor moon on Hulu helped me lol
This comparison has ended up being the most similar one that I've ever done. So choosing is difficult and I try to remain neutral with all my comparisons because in the end I want the viewer to decide what they liked better.
New subscriber! WOW, your drawing is spectacular your shading is spoto on. Happy to know that I was correct on your character, lol. I received my Ohuhu 80 set this weekend! Im using strathmore Bristol smooth 100lb its for pen and ink but works nicely with the alcohol markers. What do you recommend?
You should try Bianyo Markers. I think Bianyo Markers is more professional than Ohuhu Markers. I have compared them 2mouth ago, I am looking forward to your point.
When I was searching artix I opened the cap “too fast” and a whole bloop of ink fell on my paper, twice Also after keeping the ohuhu in its bag the side facing down gets a lot of ink and after having them for s while ink seeps through the tip and going on the cap
I'll definitely look into them and add them to my list. Also just a recommendation, my friend PartiiNeko just reviewed those markers recently. Here's a link if you're interested! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B_hQoL0l_a4.html
Oh I love drawing real people too. Christopher Lee I feel is another who I've always felt had such an interesting face. I loved a lot of his acting work too!
