So sick of these massive gov't projects. It's just seems to be one big license to steal and launder tons of money. Look at the 9B railroad project in California. People just let it slide though, everyone shakes there head and the theft continues. Accountability is starting to lose it's meaning
Just need to boot out the NDP in BC to avoid more confrontations with energy deniers. We need an educated, reliable provincial administration to keep things moving. Let’s make it happen BC. Vote Conservative.
Do we have BC ferries bonds, sold them all , destroyed two ferrys built by union workers, ah conservatives in West Vancouver. Perhaps hold the 30 year bonds at 6%perannum.
Right, in pipeline will flow bitumen from oil sand mixed with solvent imported, so the export will be marginal. The oil export will help oil importing countries and will consume natural gas used domestically, and higher price will pay citizens for energy to heat homes.
Canada has the envious predicament of having abundant resources that the whole world needs. We can choose to develop the resources responsibly and prosper from the wealth acquired by the export or we can leave it all in place and be crushed by taxation required to pay for government programs and services. It’s our choice folks. 🤔🇨🇦🙂
@@jasonwilliams8016 Oil and gas is the main source of energy throughout most of the developed world and is the envy of the developing nations. Better off appreciating what we have than demonizing the O&G industry. Just sayin’ 🤷♂️
@@svenhodaka9145 we've got export capabilities for all fossil fuels. We're developing our natural resources, with a current focus on minerals. I'm very thankful for everything Canada provides me. As for "demonizing" the oil and gas industry, it's not as though they've got a squeaky clean history or anything. As one of the most profitable industries ever they really shouldn't need any subsidies or government assistance.
@@jasonwilliams8016 Good to know. We’re aligned. Have you got any concept of the cost and risk involved in developing major projects? The government NEEDS to create economically favourable conditions to attract big industry. Look what’s happening with battery plants in Eastern Canada today. Every industry is supported at some point.
Let's pretend you have to spend 2000 a year on carbon tax . In order to pay for that cost, you have to work more and that increases emission . Even if the work you do doesn't require machines . Work generates emissions and carbon tax requires work to pay for. Unless you have a expense account paid by someone else.
We would need a new pipeline going through Quebec going to east coast also and a government pro oil and gas. Could reduce debt then taxes and control our borders like before only needed immigrants. Not a free for all.
