No need to take engine cover off. Inspection plate,2 bolts undo them and access to filter. It's 6.7 litres.

WARNING : After changing the filter, make sure the hoses do not touch the pulley.

Is there a different drsign oil filter on these now. My one that they gave me was a a zig zag design for the fins. I called the dealership and he reckons its matches up with the chassis number but im a little sceptical. It fitted well but a little tight in the housing

Hello i have nissan (navara np300 d23) model year is 2017 . (not have adblue.) Engine : YS23DDT Should I use my 5/30 C3 engine oil? or 5/30 C4 engine oil ? What is the difference between ACEA C3 and ACEA C4 oil ? My cars catalog is say C3 but castrol find oil search is say C4 GTX RENAULT ENGİNE OİL. i will use ​Castrol.

I just changed mine and took the original filter out and there was no o'ring, so where does the one go with the after market filter or we just don't use it?
