Ingredients:
Wheat Flour- 2 Cups
Salt- 1 Tsp or to Taste
Water- As Needed
Instructions:
1. In a bowl add 2 cups of wheat flour, 1 tsp of salt, adjust the salt as per your taste.
2. Add water little by little and make a dough. The base of the bowl has to be clear. Now it's done. If you want you can add 1 tbsp of oil while making the dough.
3. Cover it and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
4. After 15 minutes knead it for a couple of minutes and take a small piece of dough and roll it like a small ball.
5. Dust the working surface with flour, roll it flat like chapattis.
6. This thickens should be. Poori puffs depend on the thickness only, if you roll very thin, it won't puff.
7. Let's steam the poori in an idli steamer or instant pot, for 5 minutes.
8. Brush oil, place the poori in it.
9. I am doing it in an instant pot, pour a cup of water into the inner pot, place the idli pan
10. Make sure that the vent is in sealing position. Select the steam option and set the timer to 5 minutes.
11. Once it is done, do a quick release.
12. Take out the idli pan carefully.
13. Let the steamed pooris cool down completely. It takes 2 minutes. By the time will preheat the air fryer.
14. In my air fryer, select the air fryer option, set the temperature at 390 F, and time for 6 minutes but the pooris will be done in 3 to 4 minutes. Let it preheat the air fryer for a couple of minutes.
