Hi Ben. Would be really good to see you carrying out this maintenance of stripping down cylinder & replacing key components step by step in your video's. As always excellent content. Keep it up. DC
@@rangoonparkresortdooars6342 yes it doesn't work if the oil leakage is too much, have a Bullet 500 at home, which showed signs of leakage at cylinder base and head, it was very minor and decided to give RTV silicon a try. It's still holding after 8 years. I'm only saying it can be used in case of emergency before finding a suitable workshop to get the required repairs done.
This is because you are using fully synthetic engine oil 10w50. Go back to 15w50 semi synthetic, or the dirt oil you were using. Happened with me also with Fully synthetic.
oil leak after 40 k kms is really a bad thing even after maintaining your bike at this level of perfection. My friend's Xpulse (mostly abused) and been to hardcore trails didn't have any oil leaks, clocked 60k kms last week.
While you have the top end of the engine off, would you take a look at the ports in the cylinder head? Tell us what you think about doing some port work on the cylinder head, would it make a difference in power? It would be great if you could flow test the cylinder head. Thank you for putting in the hard work on your channel
