Good Job ..... 1980 Mechanic ... didn't realize you can do this test ... 1st I've heard. Thanks Man. My Oil Light Is Blinking On and Off .... Oil was low .. filled it up with 2 bottles and the light still flickering. Car is running fine I think LOL 😂 😂 could be the sensor because when the car is off for hours, when you start it .. the OIL light is off .. goes on during 2,500 RPM in driving mode ..
Is your low oil pressure light on ? Usually if it's not on when you start , then you actually have low oil pressure , meaning you gotta replace the o ring in your oil pan , or your oil pump

I have a Holden 3.8L V6 Ecotec that takes a one-pin sensor. What would happen if I were to install a three-pin sensor? Some models take a three-pin; others take a one-pin.
This made me go further I carefully cut mine open it looked perfect zero leaks but the contacts inside were black like corroded? Replaced with a new one zero issues for 3,000 miles now (Yamaha Engine) thank you for this video.
Fault code p252f on Mitsubishi asx keep saying check engine oil levels on dash I’ve changed oil my car has a cheap scanner on it so I’ve monitored the the dpf regeneration and it good, would you know how I would get rid of this (check engine oil levels light) could it be the oil pressure sensor faulty
@@falkirk8413 fix this ages ago you need a bi directional scanner to initialise the oil to 1550cc to zero. code finally gone it caused by short trip and the dpf not doing a regen also can be caused by a leak for the intercooler pipe my hose had a hole in it
i had one piss out of the pin like a founrain on the one pin. Crawled under it and replaced it on the side of the road at repco parts store. I still have the faulty one.
I have a question, when i start my engine i have more than half oil/ good oil pressure. After 15-20mins when the engine is hot drop to zero right away. Like zero oil pressure. Why would do that? Please let me know. My vehicle is 2014 ford f150 .Thank you

I like to know when I find the fault not just guess at it. If you just replace the sensor without diagnosing the problem and if the problem persists you still need to test the sensor, or in your case maybe you would replace the muffler, or the o2 sensor or who knows what.
Hey maybe you know so gonna ask how you’d fix broken wire going into this terminal for it ? Just get new terminal and splice into old wire? 2016 Ford Focus SE.
