It was the Engine front Seal, behind the front passenger wheel. Where the belt(s) of the engine are. There is a bushing you need to replace about 2.5" in diameter behind the belts.

I'm crying because my h3 hummer is doing this and that's exactly what the issues is. Now i have to make a decision to either get it fixed or wait and fix it next pay period. But it's my only vehicle so I'm going to just fix it and figure out the rest. I hate being an adult sometimes.

I got it fixed Saturday. Now the oil dipstick leaking. 😭. I pressure washed and clean the whole undercarriage of my vehicle it's looks brand new again. Besides the new leak from dipstick at the bottom. Apparently it has a rubber seal at the end. But I'm confused as of how oil leaks from that spot. But the things we deal with with the vehicle we love. Just annoying at times.

Time to pull out a sheet of paper and cost analysts pro vs con to fix and replace with older car to get out of the stuck zone . Most important is that you get the list then you are in control

Thanks for the video I am really concerned about my car it is a 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan. I had to get the engine changed and after some days the splash engine shield fell off and realized there was an oil leak they told was fixed what could be the problem? Any idea much appreciated it. I took my car to the same shop three times already about this leak.

Thank you for letting me see this video I have an oil leak on my 1995 Toyota Avalon and I did the gasket twice for the oil pan this might mean the right problem was in this video on that car I just have to take through a passenger wheel off to find out hopefully I don't snap another stud hahaha life is s***

Mine leaks when is not in use after i use it and park it inside the garage. Hopefully is the motor cap. Because before i had a leak from the antifreeze and mecanic charge me money and didn't find anything. So i went and buy a radiator cap and it stopped the leaking and it dosent overheat anymore.

Thank you for all the advice. I was replacing the passenger side cv axle and one of the lines came loose and was resting on the axle which created a hole. I think it’s an oil line but I’m not sure.

Great video. Current issue of mine is the dealership saying I need a new oil pan due to a leak that is not the drain plug, rather what the drain plug goes into because its stripped??? Bottom of oil pan ??

I have a 2015 Camry 4 cyl I changed the oil and after I experienced a small leak. I check the oil pan drain plug and filter--all ok, but just above the oil pan there is what looks to be a black plastic housing and that had oil on it . Now when I check the oil level I can not determine if I over filled or not because the GD oil is so clear, but maybe I did add too much. any thoughts?

I’ve been trying to find a oil leak on my 07 Murano. Every once in a while the 3rd coil goes bad. But I’m not sure if the oil is reaching it. I checked most of the common things but no luck. Any advice

You said crank shaft but at the end you never mention if it's the back or front seal . Also you said it was coming from this area ,many would ask what do you mean by this area .

Obviously front main seal leak. rear main seal is by the transmission. Anyone under a car looking for leaks should already know what these are.

I have one that appears next to the air con pump very minor but is racking my brain on where without paying a big fee to get the air con out and regassed...where is your best guess this could be coming from, it is not visibly high up the same position as the air con pump?

I’ve this rear main seal leak and mechanic said that it’s not leaking down because the connection between the engine and transmission is super tight. Oil is just staying there. But it ruined my starter. He said if he were me he’d drill a hole to let it drain and for sure this would save the newly installed one. What do you think ?

If its just a leak a rebuild is overkill. The leak in this video will require a new seal. The difference is a few hours to replace a seal as opposed to a day taking apart the whole engine then putting it back together again.

My 2003 Ford taurus is smoking, like runnig hot. I just had a tuneup and put a thermostat and gasket on. So I do have a small transmission leak, and the smoke is coming from under the pulleys. Is that a exhaust problem? Because of the smoke is that a transmission leak?

Bro I was driving last night and suddenly I started to lose rpms, then a few meters later the car stop, I tried to turn it on it starts a bit but the goes full stop, there’s a engine check and oil check. What could that be? My first response was to check the engine dipstick and it was low thankfully I was close to a petrol station, I purchase a quarter oil to momentarily solve the issue, it started but then it stopped I checked underneath the car and It was a moderate oil lick. Any Ideas what could that be ? My grammar is terrible. My car is a Hyundai Tucson 2009 automatic 4x2

So where is the oil leak from????? What part of the car is leaking?? I have a leak on my honda fit 2007 it's around the oil filter, I'm not sure exactly what is leaking, still looking 🤔 I cleaned the hole engine with hot water, now running the car for a few minutes, found my leak!!! The oil pressure switch was loose!! I was going grazy with this leak 😔 but fixed.

I was told the exhaust is never supposed to leak oil never no matter what car it is which means this is bad. I really don't think this engine is fixable. The damage has been done.
