replaced oil filter and oil pump did the big-ends new oil. Car sound soft to the ear, went about 10 km and oil light go on and she sound like somebody is hammering inside the engine. Smoke balling out the exhaust when come to a stop street, whilst driving no smoke. Tappets and head-gasket all new. What could be the fault
I have a problem with my corolla..2e engine..I think it's the oil pump..the low oil light in the dash is on, and suddenly my engine is so noisy. So I stopped using it, and will have my mechanic change the oil pump. I really think it's the oil pump, coz the sender is good, and my engine was ok before it happened.
sir ask ko lang nagkaroon ng knocking sounds 2e engine ko eh kagagawa lang po nito last jan.sir ano kaya naging reason sir?since nagawa siya puro warm up lang siya mga march ko na ginamit para mamalengke tapos after nun nagkaroon na ng knocking sounds..
@@playstation2bigs sir, anu po possible reason kapag hndi maikot yung crankshaft pulley? inalis ko po timing belt, then inikot ko yung camshaft, ok nmn. yung crankshaft lng ang hndi, kahit kunti at pabalik. thank u po.
FOR THE VIEWERS: YOU MUST PRIME THE PUMP BEFORE REINSTALLING OR IT LIKELY WILL NOT PUMP OIL!!! All that music and no clue about priming, good grief!!! You can pack that star cam area void with some light grease that doesn't deteriorate rubber and should have good results.
