This shows a lot of class on both sides. You'd think that after 3 straight seasons of meeting in the playoffs, there'd be more animosity between the teams but this show us that you can be fierce competitors for 60 mins but gracious in both victory and defeat.

RESPECT to the L.A Kings...Many other NHL Cities do not realise how tough of a playoff team they are. There is a reason Vancouver wanted to avoid them.....(although they seem to have their hands full with Nashville)

Only if we go back to the traditional 1-8, 2-7, 3-6 and 4-5. The chance of them meeting the 1st Rd is still there but there is a better chance they won't.

The Queens can have Hasek in net and still get stomped out by Canada’s team. They had Johanna NesQuick (lost in 7), JoonAss Clownpisalo (lost in 6) and NOW had Talbot and rittich (lost in 5) No goalie will save LA once they get the oilers in the playoffs junior

If it's Canucks they play Oilers will have trouble, as Tocchet will not allow his Canucks to be undone by the Oilers PP. If it is instead the Preds, Oilers will move on but get eliminated in the WCF.

Tocchet will not allow? Dude the Kings had the 2nd best ranked PK in the NHL this year. Canucks were well down the list. Oilers PP is so dynamic and fluid, any NHL team would have trouble defending it. Not gonna allow?? Oilers gonna tear that Dys PK apart.
