Easily top 25. Maybe top 10? If he’s on a more frequent contender, he’s a cup winner and probably in the best of all time conversation When he was on, he was unbeatable. He carried that team to multiple series victories My Dad was a huge Roy fan, and I know he’d love Price too
You're gonna get a lot of Habs fans chiming in but they're right, he makes the hall even for his international accolades not even minding MVP and Vezina seasons
One of the best parts was that he was almost always in perfect positions so if he makes a desperation save, you basically know that no one else would be saving it.
@@spartannige3296He was an incredible goalie of a generation. If the puck was in front of him, more times than not you could count on him making a save. Even to this day he’s a top 20 goalie of all time.
As a Leafs fan with my dad passing away in August 2020 as a Habs fan, I am honestly sad Carey left the Canadiens he was 100% my favourite goaltender I still remember my dad screaming so loudly whenever he made a great save, good times
One of the greatest goalies ever regardless of whether or not he won the cup. He has all the individual awards a goalie could get. From his positioning, smooth movement in the crease, timely big saves, carrying mediocre teams past the 2nd round multiple times, and more. He wore the Canadiens C with pride and passion. I will never forget how he gave us Habs fans the most unexpected playoff run of a lifetime, and he did all of that with a bad knee. Just unreal the devotion that he had for this team and fans. 1st ballot HOF and deserves to get his jersey retired in the rafters. Carey if you ever see this(you won’t) come back and try and win the cup in 2-3 years. If you played that well 2 years ago with a bad knee.. imagine what you could do with this new rebuilt team in front of you and a better healed knee. Don’t give up lol. GOAT
Indeed. and im a habs fan and i hope he comes back one day and when he does. i hope they trade him so he can win the cup somewhere. we dont deserve his talent.
Those who grew up watching Carey Price know he was something special, but the fact he was so good for so long and that most of these highlights are still from the covid season show just how legendary his performance was that year. I don’t think even bobrovsky’s recent performance comes close to how much Carey carried that habs team. So grateful to have grown up watching him. Miss you Carey ❤️
wow this guy is phenomenal just amazing how this guy ever gets beat, is there any part of his body that he hasn't made a stop with, I don't think. No wonder he was the best goalie in the world for so long. You are and will be the best goalie for me. I miss you Carey! 😢
Carey Price was the closest thing Montreal had to a Stanley Cup. He was a true NHL star. An elite goaltender that played his entire career with the greatest NHL hockey team of all time. In my opinion, he is the greatest Montreal Canadiens player of our era.
Man, Carey Price was an absolute legend. I miss getting to watch him. My dad would go crazy when he'd make one of his wicked saves. I hate how time passes and things change :(
Take your time carey price. Were gonna rebuild and when we get a team and heal up all the bad injuries and had time to enjoy life a little come back to it with the joy and fun you did when youngster. Give us few more years of magic we habs fans indulge you.
Had the absolute honor to see him play live once and they trashed Detroit 7-3. One of the best to ever do it and my personal favorite player, probably forever.
Im gonna miss this guy was my fave player and deserved a cup. We got one last ride on that magical run and he was phenomenal. Went out and left it all on the ice. Unfortunately, they could just never build a team around him.
As a leafs fan i loved watching price guy was electric, made me a habs fan even bet the habs winning against the leafs in a comeback 2 years ago won me a few hundred, miss ya price.
Gotta give good credit to Price, he may not be better than Andrei but he is worth it for the Canadiens. It’s sad to see he ain’t playing in the NHL due to a knee injury.
