I will never understand why the prosecution called Fuhrman during the actual trial. The defense openly stated in their opening statements that “Mark Fuhrman would play an integral part in their case.” They knew he had a thousand pages of investigation in Internal Affairs, and don’t even need him to testify. Lange was the main officer on the case, he could present most of the evidence, including the glove, Vanhatter could talk about the Bronco if they really wanted that. Sure, they could’ve have known about the Fuhrman tapes, but when Fuhrman said under oath that he had “never used the n-word in 10 years,” literally nobody believed that and were proven right. The prosecution prepared him before this hearing for questioning, they knew the defense would ask that question, and it’s pretty likely they asked him the same question in preparation.

Not calling Fuhrman would have been the correct move by the Prosecution, but couldn't the Defense just call Fuhrman in as a Witness?

They called him to testify because they smugly believed (as usual) that anyone who looked like Fuhrman would never believe in racism, or planting evidence, in the LAPD!

ape-recorded interviews Fuhrman gave to an aspiring screenwriter over the past 10 years reveal the now-retired detective repeatedly using racial slurs and boasting of fabricating evidence against minority suspects, among other acts of misconduct. A few weeks after her meeting with Clark and Hodgman, Coleman was contacted by the detective who kept the Fuhrman diary, Andy Purdy, who told her that he had destroyed the records and vowed to deny it ever existed if questioned by Simpson trial attorneys, the newspaper reported. Earlier this year, Hodgman contacted Coleman after learning that she had information on Fuhrman. The Times reported Hodgman told Coleman he didn't remember meeting with her last August, and then told her to report the allegations to the LAPD's Internal Affairs division. The Times reported the officers who told the story of Fuhrman's affair with Simpson's slain ex-wife denied ever having such conversations with Coleman when questioned by LAPD investigators. The Times reported Coleman has since told Simpson's attorneys of the swarm of allegations and denials related to Fuhrman. The latest twist in the Simpson case comes at a time when LAPD officers are accused of upholding an unofficial 'code of silence' to shield fellow officers from discipline for misconduct. In an matter unrelated to the Simpson case, two LAPD detectives were suspended indefinitely on Friday for allegedly fabricating evidence in a 1994 murder case.

Fuhrman never had an affair with Nicole. He definitely did dirty stuff when he was working in the gang unit, but not as a detective. He actually saved the life of a black man, Arick Harris, who was wrongfully accused of murder. This was only several months before the murder of Nicole and Ron. Fuhrman went out of his way to prove Harris was innocent and caught the real killer.

ATTENTION: MARIA CALLOUS Brian "Kato" Kaelin described his evening with O.J. Simpson in the hours before the murder and described "three" loud thumps he heard against the wall of his room. How could you fall against a AC unit and make "three" loud thumps like someone was purposely knocking on your wall to get your attention? The women who was Nicole neighbor testified at trial that the dog starting wailing at 10:31pm so these murders had to take place between 10:31 - 10:45pm and OJ was seen by the limousine driver at 10:55pm. She also believes OJ did it. So OJ killed two young healthy people, drove back to his house, got rid of all his bloody clothes, bloody shoes, bloody knife, showered and dressed in 10 minutes?
@victoriaelaine2068
@victoriaelaine2068 7 лет назад
those thumps were Mark's friends giving Kato a reason to later tell them what he heard so Mark could find the bloody glove read Blood Oath by Carl Jasper and Steven Worth. You can buy it on Amazon.
@danielvazquez7482
@danielvazquez7482 7 лет назад
Damon Connor; good observation however, OJ was at the crime scene the night of the murders. His size 12 bloody footprints place him there. However, one also knows they played with evidence. I.e. Missing blood from the sample OJ gave, EDTA (preservative of quantities found only in sample vials) was found in DNA testing of socks, back gate and bronco. The blood stain on back gate found several weeks after collection, which they found a pic taken the day of collection that showed it was not on the gate. Pressed in blood stain on sock. All the swatches collected were bindeled and initialed by the female (Mazolla). When the bindeles were opened and pictures taken (prior to testing) none of them had her initials. In other words the swatches were not the ones collected at the crime scene. I can fill two pages of instances where detectives manipulated evidence. None of it matters. As stated, I think he was there. If only they stayed honest and not try to bolster their case against him (dropping the glove) he would have been convicted. It makes no sense! If OJ arrived home and went from his bronco to the front door leaving a bloody trail, how does it square with him dropping the glove as he came home claiming over the fence? He couldn't arrive home twice from the same crime scene. Considering this would be a high profile case involving a defendant who was rich and famous, they tried to make it as air tight as possible. The only problem with this is "there is no such thing as the perfect crime".

Couple things: 1. A theory I heard recently that I found interesting was that perhaps after entering through the Rockingham gate and noticing the limo driver was there, OJ ran to back of Kato's room and intentionally made the three thumps so that Kato would come out and act as a distraction to the limo driver long enough for OJ to slip in through the front door. OJ would've been hesitant to go straight for the front door given that he could be spotted by the limo driver. In effect, if this was his actual plan, it nearly worked. Alan Park testified that almost immediately after he noticed Kato coming from around the north side of the house, he noticed the 6'0'' 200 lb black person in dark clothing approaching and entering through the front door. If Kato hadn't been there, Alan Park likely would've noticed the black person earlier and would've been able to determine the direction he/she was coming from. Also the timing of the spotting by Allan seems to suggest that OJ waited to make his move to enter the front door until after Kato came into view. I'd admit that this theory seems a little far-fetched but is the only one I have ever heard that gives an explanation of the type of sound that Kato heard. 2. In regards to the timeline, there were other witnesses that gave the range of 10:15-10:20 when they heard the dog wailing (i.e. the guy who was watching the Dick Van Dyke show and the other guy with the shaved head and glasses). Also, another theory is that the dog began wailing after it discovered the bodies. That would suggest that the murders had already occurred by 10:15-10:20ish according to some witnesses or 10:30ish at the latest, according to the other witness you identified. Even if the dog had been present and was wailing during the struggle, Dr. Lakshmanan testified that he believed the struggle lasted at most a few minutes, likely less than 1 minute, which indicates that the murderer would've been done and out by 10:35ish, given this later timeframe scenario. At 10:55 was when Alan Park saw the dark figure enter the house, OJ didn't actually come out with his luggage for another 5 minutes or so. It would be in this five minute interval that he took off his bloody clothes and changed into clean clothes, in the process either forgetting about the socks or assuming they wouldn't have any blood on them. I don't believe it was ever alleged that he showered. The point of #2 is not to say I'm right and your wrong, rather just to point out that there was a window of time in which OJ could have done it, given testimony of various witnesses in the trial.
@victoriaelaine2068
@victoriaelaine2068 7 лет назад
Oj never left Rockingham. he was being watch by a set of men in a unmarked car seen by one of his neighbors and so was his wife. They knew he had no one to back up his alibi. This murder was planned for months. He knows he was framed. Remember his marraige problems were publicly known. Oj and his wife both had mutual enemies. They could not just kill her and not try to implicate him in the murder. He told his mom he was being framed at his wife's grave site. He knew that know one would believe him due to the troubled married life he had and with the evidence being planted and hey proved it in court this case was Johnny Cochran to lose. Those who killed Ron and Nicole were hired by others this murder also was used for political means. You have to read Blood Oath, Problem with the Evidence, and Killing Time by Donald Freed alos in Pursuit of Evidence 35. If you don't have the time or money to buy the books on Amazon you can hear interviews from the authors on RU-vid Boykins Policy Report , Opperman Report and search for F Lee Baily Interviews. You will learn of all the important facts in this case that was often ignored by the main stream media also look up Bill Wasz who has ties to Mena Arkansas and Anthony Pellicano.

For anyone watching in 2024, here's NEW information: 17 min and 40 seconds in, Gerald asks Fuhrman if the gate nearest the maid quarters had to be opened. Fuhrman said it was open. HOWEVER- when Kato was questioned about going back there at roughly 10:55 pm the night before, he very clearly testified he DID NOT OPEN the gate and turned around instead. SO HOW DID THE GATE GET OPEN? OJ was in the limo 5 min later, Kato was no longer back there- and FUHRMAN supposedly didn't show up until the next morning. It is MY contention- that Fuhrman and Roberts went back there at roughly 3:00 AM in the morning, and planted the glove.

This site plan map is different than the one Martha showed driver Parks earlier. One main difference is the parking area of the Bentley, this one has a parking space cut-out, the other does not. This incorrect, the earlier version is more accurate. The incorrect layout was colorized and used at trial by both sides, curious. Parks said there were 2 cars that night, the Bentley and a smaller car behind it. The way this exhibit is laid out it makes it impossible for a car to be parked behind the Bentley. Was this done to support the claim that Arnelle was gone that evening at the time OJ came back from Bundy at 10:55? This trial is interesting because while the story was police tried frame OJ what was really going on was adjustments with the police and court to get reasonable doubt into the case and produce an acquittal. Parks clearly remembers a large figure come the direction Rockingham gate across the driveway into the house. Parks marks the spot he first sees the figure then reports the figure entering the house. It was a clear opportunity for M. Clark to have Parks draw the path at trial Parks report the same figure "coming up the driveway and into the house entry yet Clark ignores the report and has him mark a point at the entry. Parks is never questioned "didn't it make it difficult to go out the Rockingham gate with both those cars parked at location?" Seems both prosecution and defense fought to have Arnelle's car out. Key trial events , use Furman as the racist evidence planter, Vannatter as OJ blood planter and Fung as the bumbling evidence collector to give the jurors reasonable doubt... OJ walks.... excellent job everyone. Furman was and is a very detailed investigator and reporter of events and evidence. M. Clark did a horrible injustice to Furman by calling him names and saying "he represents LAPD's worst" , this is a classic case of throwing someone "under the bus". The Furman tapes were pulp fiction, he was playing the classic bad cop to fulfill the public knowledge of bad cop thinking. M. Clark only did damage, and believe it was purposeful damage by making these claims in her final argument summation.

Pommie bears Yea but Furhman knew OJ was involved. I believe from his point of view it was low risk to plant the glove. He knew where to plant the glove after Kato told him where he heard the thumps. It’s called framing a guilty person.

How could they sprinkle blood on the socks? What was the method, did they take a medicine dropper at bundy to sprinkle ? How could they accomplish that with fellow officers everywhere? And the more pressing question is..why?? They treated him with special respect from every 911 call Nicole ever made. Why frame an innocent man, now?
