Was OJ high on speed the night of the murders? "Absolutely not" said OJ's attorneys. "And a simple test of any of OJ's blood found at the crime scene will prove it."
The best joke Norm had was reading OJ’s “saying he would take a bullet or jump in front of a train for Nicole” And Norm said that really is bad luck when the one person who would die for you kills you
What people don't know is Norm didn't exactly get fired from SNL cuz of the OJ jokes. Jim Downey got fired because he was the head writer for that segment and Norm loved him so much he said if you fire him, you fire me too. Lorne asked him to stay but he couldn't do update and Norm said f*&# all that and left. True loyalty and integrity and NEVER even mentioned Downey because he respected him so much. Same way he refused to tell anyone in his life about his cancer. We love and miss you Norm. "that's my lucky stabbin cap!"
People don’t get sick from magical flying Boogey germs. They DEVELOP the “illness” following the resolution of the upsetting event that caused it. Just like they DEVELOP cancer. If you can’t “catch” cancer, you can’t “catch” anything else. The Germ Theory has been fraud for 110 years. Repeating it over and over does not make it true.
He was such a funny guy, very talented and so so clever, didn’t care about what people thought, he just did his thing and we all went along for the ride. Who am I talking about? You guessed it! None other than Frank Stallone.
The best was when Norm hosted the ESPYs and called out (I believe) Reggie Bush for being in the crowd. He says something about Reggie having his Heisman trophy, and no one can ever take that away from you... well, unless you murder your wife and a waiter. The crowd response is hilarious.
Norm was not super popular among black athletes at that event, LOL! Priceless. He had a real gift to not be able to give a F what other people think. At all.
@@paulbates2626 Yes! You're right. I just had to go look that up because I knew Reggie Bush wasn't right, and ironically they DID end up taking HIS Heisman.
Best Norm joke was how one of the female jurors 2 kids were happy she was finally going home”And why wouldn’t they be,she lets them get away with murder”
'In his book, OJ Simpson said that he would've taken a bullet or stood in front of a train for Nicole. Man I gotta tell ya that is some bad luck, when the one guy that would've died for you, _kills_ you. You don't get worse luck than that.' - Norm
@@jeffgrant8228 It takes a certain type of person to get Norm. Joe humps stool and yells, still sells out arenas or theatres. Is that funny? Nope. Norm is, dare I say, a comedian for smarter types of thinkers.
To be able to smile while being booed by a crowd is real power... seriously. Love that dude. It was like he knew that if he thought it was funny, that he would always connect with people who actually had a sense of humor. And he didn't give a F about anybody who didn't have one, or if he offended them.
Just a head's up, Norm wasn't fired from SNL. They mention it briefly here, but Norm and Jim Downey were the two people writing all of the OJ jokes on SNL. Executives approached Norm after a show one night and said they were firing Downey because of the OJ jokes. Norm said, "If he goes, I go," hoping to convince them to let Downey stay. Jim Downey talks about this on his episode of "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend."
I saw that compilation of OJ jokes and it was a rip. He was relentless. He laced a cannabis joke into a bit. He said "It's finally official, Murder is legal in the state of California". This was when they were passing legal medicinal marijuana laws in California. I gassed out laughing at Norm's stuff on OJ.
Like most of Norm's jokes, his OJ ones were hilarious. In fact, I'm going to go watch a Norm/OJ compilation video right now. It just seems like the appropriate thing to do under the circumstances 😁
For OJ to have used the CTE defense in '94 he would've had to admit that he actually killed Nicole and Ron. I mean you can't maintain total innocence and also use CTE as a defense, since the CTE would've be irrelevant to the case if he was admitting he didn't do it.
Orenthal James Simpson (July 9, 1947 - April 10, 2024) was an American football player and actor. He played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons, primarily with the Buffalo Bills, and is regarded as one of the greatest running backs of all time. His professional success was overshadowed by his trial and controversial acquittal for the murders of his former wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. Simpson was charged with the murders, and arrested after a widely-televised incident in which he tried to flee the police in his friend's car. The internationally-publicized murder trial lasted from January to October 1995, and created racial divisions in the U.S. He was acquitted on October 3. Three years later, he was found liable for the murders in a civil suit from the victims' families, but paid little of the $33.5 million judgment. In 2007, Simpson was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, and charged with armed robbery and kidnapping. In 2008, he was convicted, and sentenced to 33 years' imprisonment with a minimum of nine years without parole. He served his sentence at the Lovelock Correctional Center in rural Nevada, until being paroled and released in 2017. I mean, this OJ guy - this guy was a real jerk!
Heisman trophy winner, first man to run for over 2000 yards in a season, (only 14 games back then), first for 200 yards in a game...killed his wife and got away with it...if I could accomplish just one of these feats I would die a happy man.
@@mikedavis8008 deny all you want. You will meet the real judge one day too. As we all will. Try to be a little more creative though. It was almost not even worth replying to.
i heard lorne michaels was kind of friends with oj and told norm, "no more oj jokes norm." guess what happened next? norm dialed it up to eleven, lol!!!!!!
Honestly when I first heard of OJ's death, my first words were "it's a shame Norm isn't alive to hear this, I could hear him saying this: 'Have you heard the news about OJ Simpson? *HE MURDERED HIS WIFE!**" If you've seen or heard a lot from Norm, you know exactly how it would be delivered and it would be pure comedy gold.
OJ passes and we all recall Norm MacDonald’s best jokes about him. OJ said he wouldn’t rest until the Colombian hitmen were caught. Then he changed his statement to: I’ll sleep with a lot of hot models. RIP Norm
