After the trial Lange went on several talk shows blaming everyone else for the verdict. This testimony is horrible. wtf is this about? smh Ito let Cochran run the courtroom. Cochran reminded ito that he was his boss.
Disgusting that LAPD were the real ones on trial for this horrific crime. I always go back to Sydney’s message to her mom from the police station begging her mommy to answer, OJ was evil incarnate 😒
The LAPD and their history of abuse and lies is why OJ got off. The Jury had no choice but to aquit OJ. It was their legal obligation because Mark Fuhrman lied on the witness stand, and was convicted of perjury and then took the 5th when directly asked if he had ever planted evidence. Because he didn’t affirm or deny whether he planted evidence this introduced a reasonable doubt and thus the jury was legally obligated to aquit. Mark Fuhrman is single handledly responsible for OJs aquittal.
In a trial you cross examine witnesses to identify the truth. The police say OJ did it, the defense says the police are lying.. the police should prove it… but they can’t!
Marsha Clark lost the case----she showed OJ could be violent with DV, but could not connect the evidence to OJ in terms of murder. Apparently she was advised not to use Fuhrman and disregarded that advice. Lange is just being careful here. Give Cochran credit, he was a good lawyer.
@@kennethwalls341 The defense abused that right. There were far too many objections for trivial matters. This was a dirty defense team and an incompetent prosecution team.
@@ballrm1 Ito handed his gavel and court room keys to Cochran. Might have had something to do with the fact that when Cochran was working as the Assistant DA, Ito was Cochran's subordinate. Cochran was his boss in that court room too, and I bet star struck Ito even wanted Cochran to get him a new job at Cochran's own firm- after the trial if he let him do as he pleased at the trial. Well Ito did want Cochran wanted, but didn't get that job after the trial. Cochran played him like a fiddle.
@@ballrm1 Muddled Marcia and depressed Darden weren't exactly the best candidates for trying this case but I guess they needed a black guy on the prosecution's team to play to the mostly black jury and a woman to play to the mostly female jury. What a mess they made.
The bald guy's obvious attempts to be uncooperative actually hurt the prosecution and helped garner sympathy for the defense. The truth speaks for itself. To say things like "to the best of my knowledge, I believe 2 +2 could be 4 but I cannot verify that it is" makes you look like you are afraid of facts and are all about spin.
If you watch the criminalists Fung and Mazzola testify they were even worse and while they thought they were being clever the jury saw straight through them and voted not guilty. The prosecution spent 6.5 million dollars and a year on television to show the public just how incompetent they are
Uncooperative? Hardly! He answered every question with precise articulation and well thought out answers. He just wasn't a pushover is all. And he shouldn't be.
Detective Lange is call back 2 weeks after his original testimony by marcia for damage control instead he get pounded by j Cochran and had to admit: him and his partners made mistake after mistake collecting evidences.
@@iPro3million These people aren't really listening to the whole thing. They're just listening for the cues from mr johnnie and go with what they think they're supposed to think. If they had been listening, they'd remember that this witness was interrupted by mr johnnie forcing the lying lopez into the stand.
O J Simpson has received justice at last.... but it did not come in this world. God was the primary witness to this crime thirty years ago. And there is no parole in Hell! This trial will live on in infamy forever... 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Some of these questions were asked and answered on his first cross examination of Detective Lange. Why in the hell is he asking them again. And again why is Ito even allowing this. Its to God damned time consuming
All of the attorneys were playing it up to the cameras for those big book and tv show deals. They were becoming celebrities and they were enjoying dragging this trial out unnecessarily. Ito was allowing it as he was partaking in the same media circus as they were, mutually beneficial to them all.
1: It's theater. 2: Ito was weak and gave his courtroom to the defense. 3: All ito was ever thinking about was watching himself on tv later that evening.
Unbelievable Lange answers always I don't know, I don't understand,I don't recall! What's the point being a leading detective if your answer most of the time, I don't know, don't understand ,don't recall it so on and on....
He's being cautious. He doesn't want to give any information that could later be used against him if he isn't fully sure of its accuracy. Whilst I do agree that he is giving a lot of vague answers and could be more forthcoming, I understand that he has to cover himself.
You realize he's just playing dumb and being uncooperative pain in the ass ONLY with the defense. When Marcia is asking the questions, his amnesia is magically gone and he has a photographic memory..
How Tom Lange ever became a lead detective in the LA Robbery Homicide division is beyond me. Everything about the way they gathered evidence is filled with sloppiness from start to finish. I'm not saying every homicide case should be flawless but there is a staggering number of mistakes here which cannot be ignored.
@@jacksonk.fozzbodie213 I could name many, however nobody has asked me to. Why would I need to if this was not asked of me? Also you haven't asked me to in your comment so I have no reason to divulge this, and it should be self evident if you have bothered to watch the trial videos from start to finish. Please keep your ignorant comments to yourself in future.
if you watch the videos of all the trials you would have seen how sloppy it was. The reason O.J want wasn’t entirely because of race but also because of how mark furhman and the other detectives didn’t do very well
@@jasoncolegrove3788 Just because he is trained and experienced doesn't necessarily mean he always follows proper procedure. What about him instructing one of the officers to cover Nicole Brown Simpson's body with a blanket before all the evidence, and specifically the blood drops from her back were collected thereby contaminating the crime scene? What about them not bothering to wear coverings on their shoes before stepping in all that blood evidence and introducing new shoeprints to the scene? I'm not saying I'm better at investigating homicides as I'm not a homicide investigator, but this is elementary to me. The LAPD screwed up that crime scene period.
@@elijahalesana8150 He was. He must have been having a field day with all the incompetence from the LAPD and prosecutors. Lange comes across as disinterested, uncooperative and lacking in knowledge in a number of areas. Also, he clearly made a judgement call on OJ being the only perpetrator and disregarded any evidence to the contrary which made for a sloppy investigation. I still find it shocking to believe that they stepped all over that crime scene without covering their shoes, never bothered gathering the blood evidence from Nicole's back, covered her with a white sheet etc. I'm no police officer, but even I think I could have handled that crime scene better than Lange and Vannatter did. Years of experience doesn't necessarily mean they are good detectives, especially if they have gotten away with sloppy crime scene investigation techniques all of this time. Also, they both resigned shortly after this trial. Guilty conscience perhaps?
@@Romulan2469 mark furhman was at the crime scene that night and saw it all go down. brad roberts knew what happened and didnt want to get involved just imagine if he had to testify at court what he would have said.
The people in this case, completely lost sight of the injustice of reasons, why this defendant was on trial. Two people were brutally butchered. Simpsons blood was found at the crime scene. End of story! Guilty! Beyond ALL doubts.
Chance, the reason you don't understand this case is because you didn't watch the whole trial. They found OJ's blood on Nicole's gate, 3 weeks after she was killed, and the blood was still fresh. This is impossible. This means the blood had EDTA IN IT, which is A preservative. THIS MEANS THE BLOOD WAS PLANTED BY THE POLICE. REMEMBER, OJ VOLUNTEERED TO GIVE THE POLICE HIS BLOOD. HE COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE SAID NO. HOW DID A GLOVE THAT DOES NOT FIT OJ's hand with a smudge of blood wind up on his property, found by the police? Why did they never talk about Ron Goldman's criminal record ? RON WAS ARRESTED TWICE. HE WAS A DRUG DEALER. LOOK IT UP.
@@BluffCreekStudio BluffCreekStudio, this is not the end of the story, this case is more complex than you can understand. Look up Ronald Goldman's criminal record. He was a well known drug dealer. They sealed his records.
Tell that to the actual jury who ACQUITTED the defendant. Innocent people need to worry about presumptuous pre judging persons like you! Your complexion is showing...a lot
Johnny Cochran is so arrogant and his comments are passive aggressive towards Marcia Clark. She is constantly being disregarded/disrespected by him. It slightly sexist and offensive.
TIPPY TOES DET LANG - STATED AT TIMES I WALKED AROUND THE CRIME SCENE ON MY TOES NOW THAT IS AN INCREDIBLE FEAT FOR WHICH HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROMOTED AND GIVEN TRAINING TO THE LAPD
The beauty of watching this is knowing Cockroach is smoldering and burning, along with Bailey and Kardashian, like my Weber kettle grill is as I type this. Priceless. Hope it was worth all the fame and fortune Johnnie. LOL. Make sure you leave room for the guest of honor in your little hell ring. He'll be joining you in due time. Due time.
He doesn't understand how his response make him look like he's afraid of the truth. is 1+1 2? "possibly", is 2+2 4? "It very well could be" is 4+4 8? "it could be or it couldn't be" is 2-2 0? "as far as I'm aware of" is 10+10 20? "to the best of my recollection" What did you eat for breakfast? "I don't recall", if I showed you your receipt would that help you? "no". This man is supposed to be the lead detective and he can't remember anything, can't answer a simple yes or no question, nothing is a big deal, so what I carried blood in my pocket and took it home and left it on my nightstand, we all make mistakes although those mistakes can send a man to prison for life, no big deal.
Just few months this murder happens and this cop Lange most of his answers cannot recall!!!! Unbelievable!!!! The prosecutors and the investigating detectives make this court like a donkey court!!!!! If those prosecutors and the detectives are truly honest doing their jobs it should be no problem at all!!!!
that because they knew mark furhman was planting evidence and they were all involved in it except brad roberts. wonder why marcia clark never had him testify at GJ or PH? he would have opened up a can of worms
Tom lange and phillip vannatter lied in the court to cover their butts and mark furhman said its all about the glove if i go down they all go down mean all the police officers that were there that night on bundy why didnt they have constance connie dial testify? she was at bundy she works for narcotics dept why would she be at bundy that night if there was no drugs involved

The black jurers admitted which you can watch on youtube simpson was never going to be found guilty because Oj being black. Period. The jurers stated this was about getting even for the watts and rodney king issues. The facts are that this case against Oj had more evidence against defendant for murder in the history of California. If this was caught on video the black jurers were going to aquit regardless.
Lmfao that's a lie. They saw through the cops and lies they told you. Only Mark Furhmen found the evidence that other detectives missed including the gloves at the scene when they were not the lead detective and were there for 6 hours or more. If oj had a cut on his left hand how come there are no cuts on the gloves so he is going
Johnnie is a smart attorney , He’s also a slime bag ….playin to the jury…which is his job Bottom line is Simpson would have killed his kids if they wandered out in that walkway while he lost his mind in rage
@@Romulan2469 you mean in AC bronco... the police already had his bronco towed away at vertials. even mark furhman drove OJ Bronco off the sidwalk to reverse to make it straight why was he allowed to do that?
@@Mindbender55 Rosey Grier ex NFL player turned Reverend visited OJ and and OJ admitted to him by saying he didn't mean to do it. This was heard the guard Stuart behind them. He also disallowed testimony of a lady from Woman Shelter claiming Nicole called to say she fears her life...
