The mono red hate continues! I get that it can be scary but it kinda sucks to have a 3 player game for the next 35-40 mins by focusing one dude down early.

Understandable but we also record more games than we show here. Ojer Axonil completely ran away with another game before this one. That game was very short but also our camera stopped working towards the end so it's doubly unusable. We can take another shot at Ojer Axonil another time

The dracosaur with trample would trigger quartzwood with first strike, then the regular damage trample would trugger quartzwood again. A funky interaction that i only learned because of arena. Great showing for the owen blue deck!

This was a cool game, I would love to see what the red Ojer could do in another game! I think I underestimated Abuelo. Instant speed, repeatable flicker effects seem like it is really strong

As someone who is building Ojer I’m sad Ethan got blown up so fast, but taking a look at his deck I can see why he was the first to go. I will ask has he giving thought to running Manabarbs and/or Burning Earth, would seem to be really good at making your opponents think twice about tapping lands.

They were in the original list but cut to try to tone back the deck for the rest of the table. We try to tune the lists a bit so that all the decks at the table can showcase the new cards. Axonil easily swept a game played before this one so it's both good and bad that Manabarbs and Burning Earth were removed from the deck.

This is the reason why I always make sure to murder blue players first, with white and red decks they're kind of a bit of "what's on the board is what you get" kind of decks even if I'll admit that Ojer Axonil can strike out sometimes, but it's nothing compared to a lategame blue player who will usually just lock you out from playing.

Eh depends on the deck. Stopping the fast aggro/combo deck first is generally the priority as they're the immediate threat. No time to worry about the value deck if there's no game to play. There's all sorts of slow value decks that will run into the late game. Blink decks are certainly among the strongest but there's also graveyard decks like Meren and midrange value decks like Prosper. It just requires a lot of forethought to determine which deck to target assuming you're playing to win and are taking the game that seriously.

Blink does blink things. I’m not sure if I’d ever swap Brago for another Blink commander though. MAAAAYBE Abdel/Sage, but that’s a big if.

If it's a power thing, definitely stick with Brago. Abuelo is much better for lower power tables though. He's more mana intensive

I play a good bit of blink in Ephara. She survives boardwipes and almost never get removed, can't say the same for Brago.

Not at this time. We do have some information that's helpful for starting out on our podcast, but nothing that goes into great detail on either starting out a channel/editing or very detailed deckbuilding. If you're wanting deckbuilding, we do have a few live streams where we go through our process.

No, unfortunately it didn't work out for us to go this time. We're planning to try to make it out to Vegas again this year. We're waiting to see the SCGCON schedule for the year and if there's any cEDH/tabletop gaming events we can go to.

We try to record multiple videos every time we record. Ojer Axonil crushed the first game but unfortunately our camera crapped out on us so we couldn't use any of that footage.

Ojer Taq and Anointed Procession are both replacement effects, Sam would need to choose one when creating creature tokens, not both.

Nope. You choose how they stack. So if he’s making three tokens, he chooses to double, then double, making 12 tokens.

@@joebob7483 616.1 suggests player would need to choose one effect. But the ruling on Anointed Procession states they do stack. I don't understand how this doesn't break 616.1 but you're absolutely right.
