Yeah it’s easy once you learn how to operate the copy machines. I make laser prints at office stores. I bring my photos. It’s not even expensive. Employees will help you operate the copy machine if you need help.
Wow can't believe how great these came out! Going to finally treat myself to a gel plate. Are you using coated laser paper? I think my local print store uses coated in their machine.
These are Incredible!! Could gel prints on rice and/or tissue type paper be used to decoupage onto furniture etc or would it smear once you apply whichever product you use to adhere it? I guess it’s no different than using the papers in a journal? Hmmm 🤔 did I just answer my own question?!😂

I have personally found that colour laser prints have worked better than B/W, but it also depends on where you get them printed. That also can differ the results, cheers Froyle
The first print I let the transfer dry then pulled the print 👍🏼 the second transfer I printed straight away while it was still wet onto black tissue 😘 cheers
Could you please tell me what you use to protect your table top ? Is that a “Teflon sheet”? The GELLI company mentions Teflon sheets, baking sheets or glass to place the GELLI plate on when working with it - I’m considering a metal baking sheet because of some bad reviews about Teflon sheets. I don’t want to use a sheet of glass so it’s either Teflon sheets or a metal baking sheet. Thank you very much.
@@FroyleArt Thank you !!! That’s what I thought too but wondered if the plate would kind of stick to it or what, going through some paranoia with the new GELLI thing. I’ve never tried it, and yeah I’m the dollar store tablecloth type so thank you for the reply now I’ll just get a plastic tablecloth 😂👍
I’m learning and started with stencil first which I’ve gotten the hang of. I had a really hard time with magazine transfers - idk if it’s the paint or the mag lol anyone have any tips?
I have a problem with my geli print plate, i put the paint and it turns in holes over the plate...I've tried different kind of acrylic paint, i washed the plate with soap, nothing works...it really frustrating...could you help me please?
