its so much nicer to have a dozer to help clean up,it really speeds up production, you can allmost double the amount of trucks loaded in a day with a clean up dozer to help
OH yes,now i remember. And as a parting gift, boston gave canada the boston creme recipe. Now this ain't bad. We get heavy equipment,a donut comment and a history lesson all in the same vid. That's why i subscribed to this channel. The depths of the commentary knows NO bounds :)
It's also a longer swing and slower to dump if the trucks are parked at a 90* angle. You want them 15-30* off the idler so you don't have to swing as far and can stick out while dumping for faster return to dig.
love these videos been watching a while know. U should up load some longer run vids of these excavators. Its a neat camera angle and u stop it after only a couple trucks if people dont want to keep watching they dont have to. thanks
I just can't get over how short that stick looks. But my god the power that must have. You going to be taking any time off over the holidays? Or just giver steady?
could u tell us what it is your doing and how a guy gets broken in on a excavator I have a year in part time on 330 and a 400 Hitachi just can't seem to get full time
Yep, third engine now too. This video was when the first one was dying, you can hear the RPM drop when I multifunction. The second one lasted 83 hours (oops) and the third one is going strong.
Depends which 385...and which 800 or 850's. Comparing a mass excavator in speed to general purpose machines is somewhat unfair. But if you wanted to compare the powerstripe 385 with man bucket to the 850 Deere and man bucket in dirt then you'd have a show! What do you know you could find both those videos on this channel!
I always thought that if the trucks park perpendicular to the 'hoe (or rather, so that the stick is parallel with the truck when it's time to un-curl and dump) it makes for a much easier target for the 'hoe operator. I guess the disadvantage is that the trucks can't simply pull in on-the-fly, they'd have to back up at some point. Also, you're obviously skilled way beyond the point where an easier target would matter.
+/-0.07m with this thing mate, maybe you can watch and learn how to dig outside 90 and not regrade the same section 4 times for no reason. Making it look pretty doesn't pay the bills if it takes you all day to do it, a good operator can pull grade AND get production.
The TERRIBLE truth?????? What's wrong with having a clean up dozer working with an excavator??? It's the PERFECT combo. I mean it would be like TIM HORTONS and a JELLY DONUT,right???
This was in the days of when, We’d all talk shit. To do the best job we could do. And take pride in a job. Miss those days! Hahaha Lazy fucks nowadays..
There are not many statement's about operating that can be characterized as an absolute. However a couple of such statements are " A good operator always makes it drain. Another is Only move it once or the last pass is the one we get paid for. And with out a dought, hit the nail on the head a good operator can get production and cut grade. Can I get an Amen?
