I drove an OKA for twelve months for a tour company. I hope they have made some huge improvements from those early 1990 models. They had huge maintenance issues. Starter motors burning out due to heat from the close by exhaust pipe, drive shaft from engine to remote fitted transfer case, continual spring breakage due to the length of them, even the overhead air conditioning would always spray the driver every time you went around a tight corner. I wish you lots of luck with your purchase. As an after though. The OKA would run on the smell of an oil rag and at the end of the day the seats were so comfortable you could wake up away feeling fresh and not be tired. Good luck and safe travelling.

Check to see if it’s cheaper to register in Victoria or Queensland. In 2007 my new off road caravan was $18 to reg in Victoria $120 in Queensland and $ 3500 in N.S,W. $380 was the rego and the rest was stamp duty

We met you guys in Kalgoorlie in January last year and the excitement you had back then having ordered the OKA was awesome. It must be the biggest relief ever to get this thing in your hands. Wow , congratulations on the delivery of your Oka . Seems ages since we met you at Woolies in Esperance February last year and you told us about the baby news and the Oka news and now all has come to fruition . Our experience in an Oka was the mail run from Cooper Pedy to William Creek , to Oodnadatta and back to Cooper Pedy , delivering the mail to 5 stations . Seated 12 . An awesome experience so can only imagine what experiences you are going to have in the future in your new vehicle .

Im glad to see yall back on the YT with new videos. Zuri is about a year younger than my granddaughter so we used to enjoy getting to see her swim and explore. Now we will get to see her and her little sis Zena enjoy all that Australia has to offer. The OKA is amazing by the way. Out of curiosity i went to the NSW website that helps you figure out your stamp duty costs. Either thats a $411,000 vehicle or I dont understand Aussie math

A) What is the extra cost for CTIS ? B) Need sound deadening/heat insulation for interior of vehicle (Carbulders/Dynamat) imo. C) Is there any possibility of upgrading door windows to power windows at this stage of vehicle build ? Also keep engine immobiliser key separately from key bunch given or else it will bend due to the weight of other keys. AUD 13,000 is too much for registration. Compare how much you have had to pay if it’s a Isuzu NPS 4X4 75/155

I believe the stamp duty calculated is incorrect. What are the RTA classifying your truck as? It would be great if I could contact you direct and explain what went through with our truck. We were originally quoted $28k!! We ended up paying $6800.

Ok you should have registered it in W.A, you would have saved heaps it is on the rover system . All you would have needed is a certification certificate of measurment. How much did you pay ol mate to go for a drive. Now the fuel system. With no lght in switch small tank right hsnd side. With light on in switch big tank left hand side. When red light in fuel gauge shows you have about 40 km unless going down hill then change tanks straight away Fuel guage works to the tank that you are using. If you run a tank out of fuel change the switch and prime from the tank with fuel ⛽️. It takes about 10 minutes to prime. As for no elctric windows door locks ,well they are just something to fail. By a BMW if you need a lot of buttons to play with

We own Oka 281 and the fuel tanks on it will run out just before the needle is at the zero mark. Hope yours can be adjusted Love the video
