At the very end of the finale of Jet Lag: The Game season 5, We Turned New Zealand into a Real Life Board Game, credits were introduced for the first time of the series. During the credits, a punk rock cover of the Okaihau Express was played.
For one of the challenges, Ben and Adam had to memorise and sing The Okaihau Express song for a challenge. If they made a mistake at any point during the song, they would have to restart. After lots of fun moments, this song became an icon feature of Jet Lag: The Game season 6, and was reintroduced as the credits song.
