After a long hiatus, I bring another Okami boss vid. In my opinion, this is probably the hardest fight in the game and it's completely optional.
The most efficient way to beat them is to spam either Whirlwind and/or Veil of Mist, and hit them while their stunned. Whirlwind is useful as a shield, however in the long run it uses up ink faster. Power Slashing at the Canines also stops their attacks for a moment, so if you need to stop a single dog that is the fastest way to do that.
I recommend getting the Dojo upgrade for the power boost on the Glaives, it makes a tremendous difference. You can get away with using the other weapons, but the battle will last longer if you want that time rating.
Also, make sure to watch out for the holes, they will mess you up the most. The dogs WILL take advantage of you when you're stuck.
