I've always felt that if EA can't make a good sim MMA game for mobile, they should give up and go full arcade. Like draw the characters as 2D sprites like Street Fighter. Give Conor a Celtic Cross super move where his left arm turns green and 4 leaf clovers come out of the opponent's head when he hits them. Have Anderson enter the ring by climbing down from a spider web. Shit like that. Almost like the WWF Wrestlemania Arcade Game released in the early 90's. I would prefer that to what they have now, which is some soulless mishmash which satisfies absolutely nobody. It's not a sim and it's not full arcade. It's a game that fundamentally lacks all identity except for "We want your money."
This game is an absolute joke, this is the type of shit game companies (especially EA) love putting out. Copy and paste card collection game, with reused assets from UFC 3. It's perfect they don't have to put any work into it all, and they get to leech even more of hardcore MMA fans. It's disgusting. Thank you Martial for being completely honest about the game.
MARTIAL MIND READ THIS Ok so basically when you go to campaign and you choose someone to fight it'll say "update fighters" Click that and you'll get your other fighters Also for training The only way to level up is to do that training 500 pack until your level 10 Then you'll have to get a skill point by defeating bosses to get your fighter to stage 2 Witch you'll be able to level up to 20 And for the combat You're best off just being aggressive Defense controls in this game suck
I've been playing this through the open Beta since April. You were definately having a hard time, there were 8 packs for you to open that would have helped given you some items or fighters that would have helped you set up a team for that first set of fights in Camp Recruitment. Its definately a lot of inventory management and fighter power/training management. You had mentioned you hate feeling like youre going to have to pay to progress. One thing Ive noticed with this game is, no matter what you do, youre always getting rewards. Ive never felt like Ive had to purchase anything in this game to progress. Which is super nice because I have the same feelings.
Martial you need to hop on verdict, there wont be any gameplay for you to post because its just like a prediction game for fights but it would be cool seeing you make picks and explain why.
At 1:57 you had to click on "UPDATE MY TEAM" and the game would have automatically put the best fighters you had(of the weightclass required). You could also have done it manually, but for what i've played so far once you start you can't add anymore fighters to that mission. On a sidenote i don't really enjoy this game, i played it for a couple of days and that's it: i'm not a mobile gamer but even if i was, there's definately something better to waste my time on
I couldn’t quit see your chain there my man but can we please give a round of applause for Martial man. He always comes professional with the quality gameplay and even dresses for the occasion man. Lol I don’t think there is a time you haven’t look fresh on screen. You remind me of my co-worker Jaime. He always has a clean cut and dresses nicely man. His work performance is top notch as well. It correlates so smoothly to the professionalism and how he carries himself. You’re not just a RU-vidr man you’re an inspiration and a teacher to me my man. so far ive played this for about 4 days now and its kinda like if you spam you win and there isn't much of a challenge and when you train your fighters there isn't much of a difference besides you dealing a massive amount of damage just by throwing 2 strikes this game also has some weird controls bc i'll parry but they never register its just crazy wow this game works and also there roster doesn't even have most fighters that you see in the ufc
Its a trash game i played it only one day and i just decided to quit playing it there is literlly no joy in playing this only frustration of how bad they made this game.
This game is just an updated version of the old one. They should start from scratch or try and export the Undisputed games to mobile. At least they'll be detailed and thorough.
@@62.81 The combos work by swiping slower not fast and spamming attacks. Iv been playing since it came out. Found more attack combos that way. I dont have any issues im actually flying through it.
i mean we gotta tell ourselves you’re playing a game on a cell phone at the end of the day. exhibitions and create a fighter are possible but comparing it to what the ps5 can do is only gonna be a let down. you definitely have more patience than i tho. i would’ve quit 5 min into that first video
Run away from these types of games. They're built on frustrating you until you buy one of their ridiculously priced offers until you get frustrated again and you fall into a cycle before you know it you've spent thousands of dollars for nothing in return
I’m not gonna lie, since I sit in the passenger seat on the way to work which is 2 hours of a roadtrip, I got the hang of this and actually got into it. Just proper swiping like really really proper swiping will get the game to work like a charm.
I think the game has TONS of potential, it just needs MAJOR DEFENSE IMPROVEMENTS , defense is absolutely BAD, but i like the gameplay looks real, just gotta continue to improve the the shortcomings to really attract the community
This is how the popular mobile fighting games are, they just copied them while adding mma fighters. I believe u can not get into it as you are to old for this type of game this is made for children not older guys like us
You can't enjoy that game because you are used to EA UFC console games bro...it's hard to compare. That's a game for the ones who doesn't have consoles. Besides you didn't gave yourself the chance to look up to the settings, locker room things and everything. Edit: 14:35 That's what i was hoping and still looking for!
if the gameplay is good, you already have a reason to log on. Daily stuff in a game like this is just to get you on the game so that you're more likely to spend money on microtransactions. These mobile games are literally just predatory low effort games meant to take advantage of kids and people with addictive personalities.
I don't recommend mobil games. There model is always money first. Its hard to find a decent mobil game. If you don't like it, don't play it. I stay far away from mobil games.

It'd be more entertaining if you were able to create a fighter & there Stats & instead of controlling the fighter its a simulation where you get to chose the game plan
Believe it or not the 1st UFC mobile game was decent. The controls were much more responsive, didnt have the stupid cgi strike effects/animations like its freaking dragonball Z. Ahhhhhhh forcefield!! 😅 stupid... They butchered this so bad compared to 1st it literally makes 0 sense. Every single thing was better than this by a land slide
They just updated the game it get better because the old ufc they took it off the market can't no longer play it but they are improving the game to be more challenging the fights last longer and you have a chance to train and rank the fighters up to their full potential I'm on the rematch with Connor McGregor and the controls work good because their just Improving the game to be better for ufc fans and fighters and I love it 😀 I'm addicted wish they had a pvp I do damage for real
you have to be completely offensive the defense in the game isn't reliable. what I do is I just spam body and light combos that's the best strategy I've found
I actually enjoy the game personally. It needs alot of work. Maybe a caf option or maybe even just ranked and quick play like ufc 4. But personally I really enjoy it
They ain’t adding online to a game like this I don’t even think it’s possible. If u look at madden mobile or ea’s nba mobile game they never had pvp game modes.
@@SergioR00 yes they did but it wasn’t he’s Sri head. You played against someone’s defense which was AI controlled. U never even got to play defense on madden mobile.
UFC 3? UFC 2? UFC 4 is kind of weird. UFC 3 and 2 are elite UFC games if we’re talking about what’s available for this generation’s consoles. I’ve heard ufc undisputed 3 was the best but I think it’s only available for older consoles.

Seems like a shallow 2d fighter stripped of its core mechanics and then putting in a economy system that sells you back fighters attributes in tiny increments. MMA is not suited to RPG style progression. Moves should be made stringer by repetition not through drinking some virtual protein shake.

EA is just bad at making games now. There’s no creativity or thought that they care about what they’re creating. It’s just a product that asks you to pay to win because that’s 5 seconds of getting something new is only time you’re having fun
