It certainly feels like fighting games should be properly adapted to the features of the mobile platforms. Controls on touch screens feel different than through physical buttons. Situations in which people usually play mobile games are not the same as those long dedicated sessions on consoles and PCs. The mobile sub-genre could be beneficial for the FGC, and we look forward to having an even stronger presence of the fighting genre on smartphones.

I have actually, most phones can run PS1 emulators pretty smoothly and powerful enough phones can actually run Tekken Dark Resurrection and Tekken 6 on the PSP, I used to play Tekken games all the time on my phone while I was in the army.

Flappy Fighter was the best mobile phone fighting game i've played so far. Followed by Street Fighter 4.

I thought i this would talk about Tekken's Mobile spinoff. Also Tekken is actually very popular on the PPSSPP / PSP scene specially for mobile.

I would and already am playing Tekken on mobile. Tekken 6 psp version to be exact, using an emulator. It's also weird cause I can consistently do electrics on touch screen than on pad/stick lmao

Bro try playing shadow fight arena or shadow fight 4, i feel like you would feel like it is the perfect fighting game on mobile, coz once you get along and get over the learning curve, its a really fun game to play with awesome graphics too, try it once

The only tekken game i actually think can work on mobile are the pachinko games from japan. Tekken need a game on nintendo next system.
