Itz Byrax well he has a point but in general cars like these are actually used here for the sand dune climb we have in liwa and Murib dunes so these are high powered sand dune climbers with crazy engine mods and high power outputs. But if he’s referencing the game well he’s not completely wrong some games have it as well but pretty sure this is based on the real deal
GQ patrol shorty (Short wheel base) mate, came factory with an RB30 but in the game it's a RB26, Not a Pathfinder, not sure if the patrol is a thing in USA But it's a cheap off roader down here in straya
You know it's gonna' be a great video when Lex exclaims a loud, "What," at the customization options. EDIT: You know it's gonna' be a fantastic video...
fantastic video Lex! mega props to Rockstar for adding this car, I'm sure lots of people are going to LOVE this car when it's released in Online!! cool seeing your take on it, cheers
I love a four door version of it, also I want more off-road, vans, SUV's, mini-vans, MPV's, industrials and such vehicles, maybe some day in the future, I hope
Whoa, a nissan patrol! Can't wait to strip it, engine swap with a twin turbo LS, 6 inch lift kit, micky thompson baja pro's. You made yourself an Aussie rock crawler there haha.
I didn't really like the first build without the bumpers and the second one kinda looked like a mountain rescue vehicle or an offroad ambulance but a cool vehicle overall.
@Sean Price the front clip is 100% Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hell if you cover the back end (Front of the rear wheel well to the back bumper) it looks identical to the 2 door Jeep Grand Cherokee.
@Sean Price you truly are dense aren't ya? Go look at the front clip of a Cherokee and then look at this. If you have a hard time believing this, remember that Rockstar mixes and matches vehicles and makes the parts work together. There is no denying that from a side profile the front looks like the 90's Cherokee. It is further strengthened by directly looking at the front end. The two notes I'll end one are, 1 I own a 99 and can tell you yea it is and two Annis is the GTA Equivalent of Jeep.
*Once You See the Weeny Dynasty You Will Feel To Make a Taxi Model. But I Prefer You Check The Thread In the Gta forums to see the pictures if this car to make as a Hindustan Ambassador Indian Taxi*
Indeed a fantastic video, Lex. And a fantastic addition to the game. However, it's interesting to see how the people in Rockstar don't care much about the engines. In one of the turbo options, the exaust flows to the right of the engine, but it the next option, there it is flowing to the left, but that's just Rockstar, don't care if it makes sense, it looks COOL!
I'd buy and drive the grey Hellion... If I had enough space left on my hard drive to update GTA Online... 37 frickin' gigs. Living with GTAV and Fallout 4 is tough, man. Console Peasant is sad...
Fantastic video, also when you make videos using offroads or ones with lots of lighting any chance you can turn on the lights in a dark enviroment? alot of vehicles R* release are just decals and the lights don't actually work.. but with this having bull bar lights and a lightbar it would have been cool to see them on at night.
Patrol and Terrano (mkI) was available with RB family engines, thus RB26 swapping them is actually quite easy, thus fairly popular in the eastern parts of Europe, and of course in the Arab world.
The first top mount turbo option would be an RB based on the exhaust manifold being on the drivers side and it’s an in-line 6. Big daddy turbo would be on a JZ engine since the exhaust manifold is on passenger side and it’s an in-line 6. The SR20 is a turbocharged in-line 4 used in the 240 and other nissans. Look up Nissan patrol with rb25 on RU-vid. It sounds sick.
I cant wait for you to do the Weeny Dynasty. If its anything like the last oddball sedan we got, the Cheburek, then it should have some interesting customization.
Lex, when going to change the engine sound try and see how the Frankenstein car sound is(mostly to V8's) because it's a little more rough and it just sounds cool
Rockstar really needs to add new engine/turbo/supercharger/exhaust sounds on cars that have certain options available. Interior too cause all these cars are just feeling the same
May I ask? Well first i love the videos keep up the good work. Anyway May I ask what trainers do you use for the stances and sound swaps? I don't currently have a PC and I'm working on getting on but I like to get advice on it. Please and Thank you.
For everyone who know the Annis is a Jeep in GTA there for this vehicle is based off the XJ (jeep Cherokee) with the rear ended off a Y60 (Nissan patrol safari)
did you know that the first build really exists, and that there is even a race in a big desert with lots of SUVs like his? (Huge turbo, engine looks, a lot of power ....)
Buddy, it’s based on a different Japanese car, the Nissan Patrol Safari Y60 🙂 Pretty similar vehicles though. Understandable you’d think it’s an old Pathfinder. Especially from the body.
