Okemah Oklahoma is a dusty prairie town worth making a stop, if for nothing else than to get some good tacos. Today we are checking out the hometown of Woody Guthrie, the man who gave us the song "This Land is Your Land" among others. There is a great museum, and a lot of history here.

I think if I was driving through this town I would have not thought to myself, let's stop and explore its history. You seem to have a talent for finding hidden historical gems where other people wouldn't have seen anything. It is nice that you can bring those talents to your channel.

In todays day and age it's easy enough to get everything you need, even in a small town. I grew up in a big city, but have learned to appreciate American towns.

Sorry, I had to chuckle a little bit. This happened to me in New Mexico once. Someone who was Native American approached me, I almost felt so bad when I opened my mouth and they realized I was Chinese and not a local.
