Yeah, took a couple games in the Russian sausage to figure it out. Not your typical DD strategy, kinda like Le Terrible, don’t rush the cap in domination matches. Keep at range, and fire from concealment whenever possible. The torpedoes are a suggestion. I spam them like moving mines, and sometimes get lucky. Fun ship once you get the hang of it.

Sweaty Tryhard build. Nailed the playstyle of Russian DD's, but missed the essence of the Okhotnik IMO. It isn't something you take into ranked, it isn't about doing damage or winning, it's The Party Bus.

Those Stalinium shells were definitely ahead of their time in terms of ballistics technology. Glad the Soviet Navy decided to hold back and spare everyone else a massive humiliation.

Actually, Russian gun technology and shell development was historically quite good. Their problem was getting ships in the water then keeping them there.

Hmm...that's a strong build. Nice match! Was planning on getting this ship but haven't pulled the trigger. It was great to see you on the seas last night in my 1st Belfast game. Fortunately for us you were on our side. Took a quick look at the enemy roster before battle but didn't know you were in there till battle was over. I had a pretty good game and thought I might be on top, but it's hard to be #1 when Tbull's in the house! Thanks for all the work you put into these Legends videos, your channel has helped me immensely

For tech tree ships, tier 5 is the sweetspot for making credits. Tier 6 and 7 have much greater service costs

Thanks so much. Working on my way to tier 7 and noticed my credits decreasing playing tier six ships and thinking wtf. I’m guessing service costs just isn’t worth it if you don’t have a stellar game at tier 6+

Yeah many of the ships in the game will see a difference in their armor performance, but the T7 German BBs will be some of the more noticeable

By all reports, Okhotniks are usually the seals. I've yet to see one in nighttime play, but my usual div compadres have been putting the nails in the bat when facing this ship.
