This is an Oklahoma Sooners highlight video of the team playing the Tennessee Volunteers on September 13, 2014. This game was played in Norman, Oklahoma. Thank you for watching!
Man I appreciate your OU highlight videos. I'm stuck in Norway and this is the only way I can watch. that D is so good it's scary!!!! finally OU is back...
Really liking how were looking defense is looking great and offense has been doing very good I know it's still early n the season but man we're playing great
+steeleboy09 Texas is in BIG TIME TROUBLE! Already fired their Athletic Director over poor play of football team! (They Really Suck)! Won't be long before coaches heads start to roll! Of course the OU-Texas game, strange things sometimes happen, regardless of who has most talented team. I think our guys are playing on a lot of steam over last yrs disappointing record! These guys have something to prove! BOOMER!
Defense is elite. Easily top 10 in the nation this year. The difference between our offense this year and last year is that we have an identity at O. Heupel had some bad play calling but that will get corrected. This team can play with anyone in the country.
Our Defense is Solid and can get us far. Striker is a beast. Our offense is Good but can be a bit uncomfortable at times, the Offensive line could have made some better wholes for Our running backs. But our receivers are solid. I couldn't complain about this years team, The real Sooners are here.
Bob Stoops was quite hard-headed during this game. The running game was not as good as expected, and, towards the 3rd quarter, they started stacking and blitzing. Any pass over the middle was pretty much a guaranteed first down or large gain.
tanis143 Best Offseason move Getting M Stoops away from the Secondary. And a Bonus putting him in the Press box. Best move Bob has done in a long time. Cooks and this secondary will be lots better.
After this game. The defense has hype so now they need to fix the stupid mistakes and inconsistent offense for the WV game. As for tennessee. We knew they were a young team since our defense showed no signs of threat from their offense but next years game is going to be more legit and cant wait to see OU play yall then. Will be rooting for yall against other SEC comp Bob fix the inconsistent offense
Only weakness in the D is the middle. I am surprised Tennessee didn't use the middle of the field more to pass to tightends, screens etc. Our offense went Vanilla after we scored in the 3rd quarter. No reason to give more tape to other teams. As you saw, only Perine was running the ball after that last scoring drive in the third.
All these Tennessee fans can complain about this that and the other, but the fact is they lost. Missed holding calls had nothing to do with it. I'll worry about the Vols next year.
+Sid Howard They'll talk about the missed holding call night and day but won't talk 2 seconds about the WORST CALL IN FOOTBALL HISTORY, when Steven Parker picked up a BLATANT FUMBLE and took the ball into the end-zone for a touchdown, only to have it called back for forward progress. Funny how the whistle blew the "play dead for forward progress" AFTER Parker already had the ball in his hands.
+Chase O You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT about the blatant missed call on Tenn fumble! I almost stroked out! But being a lifetime rabid Sooner Fan, I have seen it all! We NEVER get the calls! A missed holding call? Those Zebras could call offensive or defensive holding on every down if they wanted. BOOMER!
Think about it,Tennessee football wasn't the same after those two consecutive loses to Ou!! Not saying that's the main reason for their downfall but definetly played a part in it. #Boomer
It was loud that night. The Tennessee center had to have the guard look back at the quarterback and slap him on the rear cause he couldn't hear. Boomer
I will like to congratulate the Oklahoma Sooners on beating a team made up of mostly freshmen so enjoy it while you can because next year you all will have to come to Rocky Top a and we will be more experienced by then.
