Finally a proper comparison. Already had the OW2 2 but was wondering if there was anything I was missing out on compared to the pro model. The OW2 2 are great and I think I prefer them over my Shokz Open Run Pros, they sound a lot better as I expect but I alternate between the two to mix things up. I still like that I can hear a bit more of my surroundings with the shokz probably because the sound isn't being directed through my ear canal so I guess that allows my ears to hear my surroundings better, but the Oladance's are still great at that whilst having a decent sound quality to them.

I've tried some of the Shokz and I so prefer these I think the OWS Pro is the best right now there is for this style.

Great video, one thing id like to add is that the pro model gives a focus mode feature whereas the ows2 does not. It's an artificial way of making noise cancellation and you can notice the difference it makes. Almost feels like a force field bubble around your ears.. weird at first, but after a while, you can notice the quality difference in your audio. Not a game changer, but a really really nice to have feature in my own opinion.

Another feature is that you can individually power on/off each of the Pros on the bud

OWS II do have a charging case option. I have it. It's nice, but I do like my Pros better and glad I upgraded to them. They're easily my favorite need-my-ears non-obstructed headphones and brands. I do have the multitude of Bone Conduction options from that top brand that keeps changing their name... Shockz, there I remembered it. They sound good too, but I do prefer these more.
@Techtablets
@Techtablets 10 месяцев назад
That's good to know. Yes the Pros I prefer over the OWS 2, better sounding sightly more comfortable but both are good at that. I've had bone conduction headphones but after a while I don't find them as comfortable and sometimes I get headaches I think from them. Thanks for the comment!

@@Techtablets Yeah, it is infuriating that Oladance doesn't offer the ability to buy the OWS 2 with the charging case, even if it's a $50 Upcharge, which I think the case did cost me. The case is rather large, like bigger than a hockey puck, but still pocketable. Speaking of which, I don't know where my 2s are but I do know where my pros are.
@Techtablets
@Techtablets 10 месяцев назад
I think we know why they want us to go for the Pro model instead of the OWS 2's that's why they didn't go with the charging case. And this is part of the reason why I think it's wise to spend a little more and get the Pro model.

I liked my OWS Pro so much, that I ended up buying a second set as a backup. The downside is that they don't cling to my ears that well.

Thanks for the review, I beg to differ on the OWS pro is defective the sound when talking is low and most times am having to disconnect it from the phone to take calls, complained about this to Oladence no response. The OWS1, OWS2 version is way better quality

Bad bass from these due to the design

No they aren't bad for this style they do have some bass to them.
@Benzo97
@Benzo97 10 месяцев назад
I think for products like these, as long as the sound is still decent (even if the bass is lacking compared to regular style buds) you're getting them for the comfort and how much of the world you can hear around you. Something that compliments any regular headphones/earphones you may already have. Great for someone like me who enjoys time spent being outside on walks or on bike rides but still wants to listen to music. These style of buds aren't for everyone but for me I can't ever go back to regular pairs when out n' about
@Techtablets
@Techtablets 10 месяцев назад
@@Benzo97 100% agree these are perfect as a set that compliments your in-ears. Good for just that, I prefer using my OWS pros when I go out walking or for a casual cycle and still want to hear everything but never have to worry about them fall off.

You get what you pay for. Bite the bullet and spend the dosh, I did and omg I can honestly say these are the last set of open-ear buds I'll ever need. I went with the Pro version... go big or go home. Jokes aside, I also bought plenty of cheaper options like tozo, soundpeats runfree series, truefree o1, f1 and tested them all. None of these cheaper options even remotely come close to the quality and comfort of the oladance. The Truefree O1 comes close when it comes to comfort, but then you're comparing 4 mic to oladance's 6, the volume is lower on the cheaper version and battery life is just 11 hours compared to 16. There's also way too many random disconnects during the day whereas the oladance never disconnected once even when paired with multiple devices. I bought the tozo for its sound quality, but it was uncomfortable, I bought the truefree o1 for its comfort, but it lacks battery life and loudness, I bought the soundpeats runfree lite for its battery life, but it was also uncomfortable for long wearing and the mic quality is subpar, I bought the truefree f1 for the better design and comfort, but the noise cancellation mics are non existent... I bought the shokz openfit, but the battery was lacking at just 8 hours... I refunded them all for the oladance and saved over $100 in total. Sure you pay less for those less expensive brand, but you sacrifice ALOT, im done with a poor man's way of thinking. If you want quality and reliability, don't skimp is my own advice, the ows pro is worth every penny. Anyway, haz is much better than want 😂

Good luck wearing those if you have glasses. Also these kind of earbuds hurt after an hour or so of use. Also another device having in-built microphone for no proper reason. Someone is calling you? You can always take your time or call them later. If is an life threat emergency there is a number for that.
