Old 2013 Macbook Air in 2023 

the fact that the laptop is usable ten yrs later is impressive alone.

I am still using my macbook air 11" in my workplace. It still does the work.

I just bought the 13-inch 2017 Macbook Air. I love the sleek and thin design of this machine. I also have a 16-inch Macbook Pro, but was looking for something I can easily take with me on the go when I need to do some light work.

I have the same but i7 1,7 with 8go of ram still working great and i feel no need to change it

Thank you for this great review! I had this mac air since it came out mid 2013, wow! didn't notice its 10 yrs old already . Surprised how low the price of this device now a days, still works like a pro. Not worth selling, I would rather keep mine and make use of it until the end of time haha!

You can do a workaround and install the newest iOS version to it 🤩 just have to have a usb flash drive ❤ mine has been working well, but I’m finally gonna update to an m1 or m2 today it seems. Best Buy has a sale going on that ends today prolly gonna get it there or get one off of Facebook marketplace. Great video 💕

This is my personal machine! I still use it for coding and light web browsing. It's incredibly cute next to the modern machines. I have replaced the keyboard, thermal paste and battery.

im using iphone from start but i never use mackbook soo my question is like older iphone after some years apple stop the software update on older devices is it the same case with mackbooks. if they do that with mackbook will it effect on our work or something like that??

I have the exact same MacBook Air with the i5 and 4gb of RAM. Unfortunately, since Apple no longer 'supports' this computer, I put Windows 10 on it. Yes, I know there are workarounds but this was my wifes laptop she stopped using and I really dislike the 'feel' of MacOS. I will say, this laptop runs Win 10 GREAT and is perfect for light tasks, such as email, web browsing, watching videos and office work. When I'm not using it, I'm utilizing it as a low power security camera server and it runs flawlessly. It is also my travel laptop if I'm staying at a hotel and just want to watch Netflix or RU-vid. Battery life definitely isn't as great as it was brand new - I can get around 2 hours, 2.5 hours under very light use..so it mainly stays plugged in. What many people don't realize is that unless you're playing the latest AAA games, you are probably using a fraction of a 'typical' modern day computers processing power and capability. Most working 5-10 year old computers are just fine for office work, email, web browsing and watching videos (what most people actually use them for).

I bought this recently on craigslist for $120. I upgraded the memory to 8GB & added an SSD. I also updated the OS to Ventura via Open Core Legacy Patcher. It work really well as a travel laptop

I really undecided wether I should choose the 11 inch or the 13 inch. Gosh. On the other side, I don't want to downgrade my 13 inch windows, since it's hurt to see small thing from anythinng. But on the other side, I want a compact laptop as well. I'm not a traveller though. Anyone have a self opinion?

I picked one up recently. For a travel device that you can get for less than $200 (got mine for $150 with tax w/ 8gb/256 ssd) I can't think of much better. I tried the Chromebook route and that was definitely not the solution. I also wasn't about to pay more than $300 for something that I would only use on certain occasions. All I knew is that I needed a fully capable device that was small enough to tote around and if it got stolen I wouldn't want to jump out of a window. This is it.
