@@tankunicorn134 the worst part is that I imagine his voice as a normal dog voice trying to sing and instead of being cute this picture makes it really scary...
Foxy Fazbear Ofcourse, because the point was to show how each of the dogs interacted with the ball. It wasn't to see who could win but how they would react to it.
@@shawndoran8217 It would be funny if the new Aibo actually peed oil on the floor though, they have that interaction after all, you have to potty train them and scold them when they pee where they're not supposed to.
@@shawndoran8217 umm not really, it's more like having a puppy that doesn't actually pee the floor, but the new Aibo does the actions and there is a peeing sound, so in a way they pee without actually peeing on the floor. Aibo matures from puppy to adult and looks like the new one includes the potty training, or house training, it makes me wonder if you have to teach it to pee outside like a regular dog. About the egg in school, it be funny if you were taking care of an egg and it hatched a baby chick, lol
@@onidaaitsubasa4177 exactly were are heading with this you can clone your pet and are forced the maintenance I think there is a race to the finish live or memorex egg thing makes me hungry
How crazy, she turns the older dog around so Baymax can finally get a chance to kick the ball but the other dog still manages to find it and kick it with its hind leg 😂 that’s awesome! Much faster!
I was actually moving him so his paw wouldn't get stuck on Baymax's while he was turning around! He likes kicking the ball with his back paw and is quite good at it.
*difference is clear: The old one was programmed to operate and try new things without much interaction with human but new one needs instructions, I have watched its reviews you should interact with it frequently to behave*
@@s4di.3 Yeah but real dogs don't just stand there waiting for orders from their master, they do their own things like the old Aibo. You might need to teach it right and wrong but you don't need to teach it to....well to be alive.
i prefer the old one´s design, especially the tail wag is nicer? but it has its weaknesses overall, i think the new one with a mor erobot design like the old would be a win
Here’s how I see it Old aibo: A weird ass robot that looks like a dog with a few dog-like quirks New aibo: A weird ass robot thats trying too hard to act like a dog. I like the old one better, there’s something charming about it.
The new one (in part due to its more rounded shape, cartoony eyes, and more obviously running pre-configured animations) comes across as more of a toy then the original. That said both of them are pretty damn overpriced toys lol.
I think the new one is still in his puppy stage, so he might get better at finding his ball, it also would explain some of why the older one's behavior is so different, as not only are they different in the years they were made, they are different in maturity which affects how the dog acts. You would really need to see them both at the same life stage to see the difference between the 1999 one and the 2018 one.
Fun fact: in the Japanese show Kamen Rider Zero-One, there is a robot dog character called Thouser that appears in episode 38, and it's portrayed by both of these models of Aibo. The ERS-110 (or ERS-111 according to the wiki) portrays the original Thouser in a flashback, while the ERS-1000 model portrays the reconstructed version of it.
They both just seem really curious about each other. Ik they’re robots but I can kinda hear their inner thoughts through their body language like “oh hello” “what are you? Can you pet me?” “Oh you’re wagging your tail, I shall wag mine”
I really like bugs tail and ears it has better realism the stiff tail is a bit weird especially when bug is wagging his tail it just looks better the new dog is a bit slow
I remember owning a Tekno. It wasnt like these Aibos. But i fell in love with the thing like an actual dog. It didnt have voice commands or facial recognition, but it had its own personality like these guys. Sadly i lost it a few years back and i actually cried because i had that thing since i was around 10, and i am 21 almost 22 now. One day i hope to be able to afford one of these guys. sadly i cant find any new tekno models so i assume they stopped making em.
The new one looks more dog-like and moves smoother, but there's certain charm at old one's appearance... must be nostalgia since I always dreamt about aibo as a kid. Anyhow, I really like the head and eye screen of the old one.
Wow. Tremendous post! Thank you so much! I have wanted an Aibo ever since they first came out. Hoping to one day make that dream a reality but this is such a nice treat to tide me over 😁
I thought that I wouldn't want an ers-110 but this video has actually made me realize I prefer the look and general "personality" of the original over the ers-1000 ! thanks for making this :-) love your channel !!
I had been trying to figure out what toy I had but now I know that I had an old Aibo. I left it at a friend's house and their siblings tore it apart and scribbled all over it. I was devastated and every part of me wants to get a new Aibo.
For me, the ERS-111 had the most dated design of all the AIBOs. It felt... very 90s. The 210 is personally my favourite design out of all the AIBOs, including the 1000 model. The design is so timeless and I like how they achieved that while also being incredibly modular. Something you don't see too often these days.
