World leaders converging on Washington for a 75th anniversary Nato summit were sold a show of strength hosted by the Alliance’s driving force.
But beyond the photo ops, there is a feeding frenzy. The White House swamped by questions over the fitness of a U.S. president who is older by six years than the defense and security pact that in those days bound together nations against the threat of Soviet expansion.

Lets explain how Russia wasn't provoked using provocative terms. 'Containment' is a provocative term. Try to contain someone, something, and it will inevitably try to break free. And don't they realise how hypocritical it is to call out Chinese troops in Belarus while ignoring American troops in the Baltic states?

Your map @38:32 like so many other maps on RU-vid leaves out Greenland as a NATO territory. Often Svalbard is left out too.

As armchair generals (both professional and amateur analysts of global politics), we can easily become focused on the irrelevant. Whether European NATO countries are supplying F-16s to Ukraine and they are upgrading their airforces from a capable but old aircraft to modern equivalent because of diplomatic reasons or because NATO simply finds it to be a good deal for their air protection (economies of scale and opportunity), then isn't the outcome the same? Why would NATO countries spending money on enhancing their air warfare capabilities be spoken of as if it is a sinister thing? It is completely normal for counties with threats at their borders to upgrade their airforces. Waaayyy too much focus on the irrelevancy.

The alliance is not a defensive one, but an offensive one. Serbia, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Ukraine, in the last 75 years no one has been more involved in conflicts and wars than NATO.

You should read the Heritage Foundation report on US military. Their forces in Europe are now so small that they could not overpower the Romanian military. More is not coming. Do not take my word for it, read it for yourself.
