One of the best channels I've seen that features guitar pedals. You truly make each and every pedal a star on their own right. Thank you! Keep up the great work! _Cheers!_
you know i can't afford any of these pedals but i love leaving these demos on for ambient noise in the background and to figure out how i can recreate them with some of the stuff i already have.
got one bc I saw Ry Cooder using it as a slap, which is basically what organ mode is, super unique and adds such subtle atmosphere without drowning out the notes being played
This video made me buy this pedal for my first delay. I haven't regretted it for a second. It is a fantastic pedal. These are some of the best videos on youtube to get you excited about music and guitar gear. I love listening to the videos as much as finding out about the pedals.
I bought one of these like a year ago because of this video, even though my style of use is differend than yours, I need to say that I love your stuff and look forward to staying with you.
Knobs has easily become my favorite channel to watch pedals and gear videos. every video is strangely calming and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy not to mention so many of these pedals i want to try out now
Somehow the knobs demos are like every essential pedal experiment I’ve made (yet failed to record or write down) played back from inside of a Wes Anderson scene.
Old blood's official demo's are so moody and one sided; I love how you open this beast up and show a very warm, rich & peaceful side to it. It's actually got a lot of subtleties that I haven't heard elsewhere. It sounds like walking alone through a forest in late autumn and enjoying the solitude. Perhaps if it had a scent it'd be a camp fire's smoke. Anyway, blah blah, I love your demo's man.
Always the same great original reviews I have come to love no matter the pedal. I love the sounds you got going here but not having a tap tempo switch would make it more of a studio toy or bedroom jam for me unless there is a mod to make that possible. Thanks again! Take care ;P
+Matt Sanford Y'know, delay is probably my favourite effect...but I do not have a favourite delay. The first one I would check out is the Industrialectric Echo Degrader. It's full of character and made by the kindest dude on earth. Right now I'm really enamoured with the Alexander Radical Delay. It's EXTREMELY versatile (I'll be doing a demo for it this month). Another is Fairfield's Meet Maude. I haven't actually played it, but I suspect it's my delay soul-mate.
You're killing me! I totally want to get my greasy meathooks on both the degrader and the radical now. I think I may seriously investigate the fountain first though...I want that slime.
Matt Sanford Hey man. I feel like its a bit difficult to define delay so that a group of pedals can be organized under it because there is such an awesome range of manipulating the effect and every person and pedal is different. But my borderline meaningless opinion is that that the line 6 dl4 is great. Definitely try it out because it does so much. I believe it helped me get a better sense of the delay effect in general. +knobs I heart you
