Old CED Video Discs Pickups! The Worst Obsolete Media Format. 

I have over 100 of these. There are still many discs that play well, you HAVE to inspect them, never stack them because it can crush the stylus grooves. Many players can be easily repaired by cleaning, adjusting and lubing the turntable, and adding new belts. Yes it is finicky but it can be very charming.

Seriously, is it me or does C.E.D cover art look better than most VHS and Laserdisc releases?

Savage Streets was on CED, but for whatever reason it was decided not to put it out for sale and only a few copies exist. I have every regular CED title and several working players, I’ve uploaded many high quality captures of CEDs. They aren’t perfect but hold up reasonably well, I watch them upscaled on my 4k TV.

I have recently ordered Enter The Dragon On This Format, once it comes, I shall have every single format it's ever been released on.

I have over 100. Original owner of the machine and it still works. The Blue Sleeves, And some White Sleeves with a Blue Tray are Stereo. It was stereo a year before VHS was, and the sound was amazing back in the day. But it would skip sometimes, and then sometimes it wouldn't in the same spot. I love this machine. CEDs are one format I've yet to collect. I think they're really cool video relics, but I haven't come across any that appealed to me yet, and being more-or-less unplayable I definitely need to be a fan of the title. I dig that you watch TechMoan also. I love those kind of channels.

CED is a format I've heard quite a bit about between several RU-vid channels like CinemaSickness, Cinemassacre, and a couple of others, but I've never seen one in person being that the format was dead by the time I was born in 1986 and nobody I knew growing up owned any. I've also never seen Laserdiscs in person for the same reason. Cool video though man.

CED are so cool such a mystery to me.I hope some kind sole drops on off in your PO box one day..I wonder if there was ever a movie only released on CED??Anyways great video hat hole...Super happy for you about getting monetized!!!!

I have about thirty CEDs. We got one of these back in the day because Star Wars was free with purchase. I have Empire, Raiders, The Hobbit, 2 or 3 Bond movies, Time Bandits and many more. Still on the hunt for a player. Great video.

I drill small holes on the sides of the ced and string a wire through them, then hang them on my garage wall. They are only good for display

I had never heard of CEDs until watching this. So with being a partner, does this mean there will be memberships and tiers soon? Cause I'd probably nix patreon in favor of being a channel member instead.

ticks, had never heard of that movie, well its official, they have run out of critters to make into horror movies now

Bizzare question but since you've seen so many VHS tapes, do you have to a night at the museum vhs at all? It's impossible to find it here
