Hi Lynda, this was my first really large project using such a fine weight yarn and I have to say, I really enjoyed it! I took frequent breaks to give my hands some relief, but it didn't take as long as I thought it would :)

OMG!!! Among your super powers is mind reading! LOL! I just bought some of this yarn because it was so beautiful 😍 had no idea what I was gonna do with it other then just touch and look at it, but now I know exactly what I’m doing with it! I have the color way ‘Cast Away’ this shawl is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Thank you again for all you and Mr. Instiches do for us all! Headed to the beach for a week for some quiet relaxation time, this will be a fantastic project while sitting on the deck watching the ocean and sunsets! Love y’all 🥰

This the best light and airy tutorial for this shawl. I have made 8 of this shawl with summer nights by lion brand. This pattern is the best that I seen on utube and very easy simple. Hi Julia! It's an easy stitch and I must say, a very pleasant yarn to work with, despite it's fine weight size :) If you have super fine weight yarn around, I recommend trying a little sampler size of the pattern and see what you think!

An absolutely gorgeous stitch. I think this would look great, even with a thicker yarn, but I am excited about trying out a few different yarns with the stitch and see what I can come up with. I see it as a beautiful shawl, tablecloth or even (for somebody much more ambitious than me) a bedspread. I had real trouble deciding on a colourway! I was really leaning towards the yellowy/gold one called Sunset but I fell in love with the name Treasure Island and the colour made me think of the water!

Hi Deborah! Thank you so much :) This stitch looks really nice in several yarn weights, so once you find a yarn you like, you can use the formula to make a starting foundation chain as wide as you like and off you go :)

Hi Chelle! I recommend you finish the smallest project first (you'll get that feeling of satisfaction sooner!) and then the next smallest...that's how I like to tackle my WIP pile :)
