What was supposed to be a video with a fun intro to a fun video turned into a broken portable shed, a change of plans on brooding, and a now a "who knows what to do" problem when it comes to the chickens. Nevertheless, it was cool to find that old video from four years into our farming journey!

Thanks! I was really glad I stumbled across that because honestly I had forgotten about it! It does make it seem like we have come a long ways when I see that (still wish I had a four-wheeler though ;)

What a great memory. We don't have much video but have photos. I'm sorry to hear about the chicken wagon. I've had projects like that too. If I would have watched this video before the short I wouldn't have asked about your year.

Bummer to hear the chick wagon isn't working out, after all the work and cheap lumber you put into it. Hope to hear more of your thoughts on why it went the way it did. Hang in there!

The wagon will still be put to good use as a egg layer wagon, but the meat birds haven’t roosted in it like I have seen in past years

I’ll have to get into that a little bit. I don’t know exactly why, but they are roosting up in it like they had done a few years back when I raised meat birds in a wagon.
