Have a great week! We had to change our A/C units. You don’t realize how much you miss it till it’s not working. We are having extremely hot and humid weather in our area. We don’t usually get long runs of this type of weather. In fact we beat an all time record of 40°C=104°F. I think it may have done it for the thermo-pumps, one of them, at least. So we thought better get them both changed at the same time. My wife is waiting on a call from the hospital to have bilateral total shoulder replacements. It’s a specialized procedure that has just finished clinical trials. There are only handful of doctors in Canada that are certified for this procedure. The orthopedist, said that 5 years ago she would of had live with the excruciating pain. Please pray for her, no one deserves to have to live with that pain, especially my wife, the sweetest and kindest person you’ll ever meet!❤️🙏🇨🇦

When we were putting in Tobacco on my mother's and grandfather's farm in the sixties and seventies, my grandmother made this alot for our lunch. It was so good after spending all morning in the tobacco fields in Southern Virginia. Wow the memories. I was a 10 year old white kid picking tobacco with three old black men. It was tough out there. First thing in the morning you would get soak and wet from the dew. Then it would get hot. The wind doesn't blow much in a tobacco field. Have to use Lava soap to try and get the tobacco tar off your hands. My picking companions called the heat the monkey. When it got hot, they would say the monkey sitting on that light line laughing at us.😊

How nice that both of you can enjoy the fruits of your labors after all your years of hard work. A blessing for sure!

We loved the duck calls; keep it up, you have a knack for it. I live in north Idaho and we were treated to 3 days of evening fireworks and no out of control fires; praise God. I absolutely loved hearing the water fall in the background and to see you having a peaceful place to start the day!!

We stayed home, rested and stayed safe! I made us a large brunch so for supper I made us some chocolate milkshakes! A nice quiet 4th. 🇺🇸🙏🥰

We use our back porch every morning drinking our coffee too. We thoroughly enjoy it and everyone that comes over visit loves our back porch which is a good size.

I stayed home with the animals.. my poor dog does not like fireworks after he took one for me years ago. I am thankful for that.. so I stay with him now.

I rested at my daughter’s house in Florida. I was a cat sitter and dog sitter for them, it was a wonderful week with a pool and beautiful house! 8 full days of being all alone. That hasn’t happened since 1971!

I add a cup of grated cheese in mine. We like pepper Jack it adds just enough spice. They freeze well.

My oldest grandson and I have had some of our best times sitting on the porch practicing turkey calls ... we've even heard a gobble now and then through the woods! He was almost overwhelmed the day I gave him my favorite striker, a slate turkey call out of my bag. At random times he will bring it over and show me how good he's getting. So keep on quackin' Brother...those ducks will never know!😅 Practice might not make perfect, but it sure makes for some good times...I bet your grandsons love it, too!

Sausage & Kraut is one of my favorite meals. I add in chopped onion, and bacon grease. I serve it with great northern beans, stewed potatoes & cornbread.

Squash is one of my favorite vegetables and as much as I like fried squash, I'm sure I'll really like these too. Especially after Mr. Brown said the fritter tasted a lot like fried squash. I don't have a garden but I'll get me some more squash next time I go to town to the grocery store 😊❤

We had company all last week including our two year old grandson. We stayed in our yard and watched the nearby church’s fireworks. I’ve got a couple of yellow squash and a zucchini in the fridge. I might have to try your squash fritters recipe.

We shred and ferment carrots the same way. They are delicious alone. I enjoy a mix of saure kraut and fermented carrots together as a snack.😊

Hello ,Mrs . Lori And Mr. Danny . Glad y'all had a good Fourth of July . We didn't do much of any thing . We ate chili cheese dogs and chips . Every body else had to work . Enjoyed my self didn't have to cook a lot . Just two of us to eat . Squash fritters are delicious . You can also wash them . Split them in half . Take out the seeds . Make your meatloaf . Put some rice in that's cooked . In the meatloaf . And stuff in to the squash delicious . Cook in 350° oven until done . The Lord Continue To Bless You .😊
