The reason for the short video is because I want to capture my favorite parts of the companion quests specifically. Main story quests will be uploaded in full this is only for companion quests! Thank you for watching!
Honestly, pretty good way to do it. Some of the companion quests have a lot of running around and talking of very variable quality. But reliving the highlights through you is still fun.
I'm a firm believer of the community theory that Bailu is Baiheng (fox girl in the high cloud quintet). It's weird that both Blade AND Jingliu visited Bailu during this quest. Baiheng was a foxian ace starskiff pilot who sacrificed her life to save the others. Bailu also has a voice line when she visits the astral express where she mentions having dreams of flying across the sky, only to wake up crying without understanding why. I'm guessing the sin of Dan Feng and Yingxing was that they tried reincarnating Baiheng using the Vidyadhara rebirth thing. It went wrong because Baiheng was a foxian. Thus creating the berserk abomination that Jingliu had to kill, inflicting her with mara. Was extremely sad for Jingliu cause it turns out that Baiheng was a very close friend and that she had to kill her in her failed rebirth state instead of accepting her death in peace. You can search for a video or something explaining the theory. It's crazy interesting
@@comfywormm To add to it, Dan Heng's imbibitor lunae form lacks a tail but Bailu has one. This is pure speculation on my part but I think they might've tried the vidyadhara rebirth on Dan Feng and Baiheng at the same time after her abomination form was defeated. Which is why it half worked, basically splitting the vidyadhara traits but with a successful rebirth for both. Since Dan Feng was a criminal, I guess they just went with transforming Baiheng into their high elder instead of using someone random.
To add to a few of the comments here: The transmutation arcanum is an unknown factor, we don't know exactly what it does, but to transmute means to change something from one thing to another. My guess would be that Dan Feng and Blade tried to transmute Baiheng(the foxian) into a Vidiyadhara so that she could be reborn, however as unnatural things like this tend to go in media.... it wound up a disaster(compare to Fullmetal Alchemist for instance). My theory is that it both failed AND succeeded at the same time. It resulted in the monstrous thing that Jingliu had to kill, but we also have Bailu, who is a high elder, which I attribute to Dan Feng having to pour some of himself into the Transmutation Arcanum as a sort of cost or donation for the transmutation to occur. In another side quest we find that Dan Heng only has the destructive side of the high elder powers, not the healing and restoration side, which Bailu DOES have. I think Bailu is the remnants of Baiheng infused with half of the high elder powers. I think Dan Feng was essentially an Emanator of Long the Permanence, but now that the power is split between Dan Heng and Bailu it's like them together have the power of an Emanator.
the "catgirl" is baiheng its one of their friends and she is a foxian like yukong and tingyun and out of the highcloud quintet, blade is the only short life specie out of their group thats why he has white hair before
will you also be playing the Trailblaze Continuances? I highly recommend doing the 2nd part of the Herta Space Station Continuance Quest (Mundane Troubles) as well as Belobog's Continuance Quest (Future Market) before starting the Penacony story
Jing Yuan & Blade was wearing different clothes when they were a children does that count? 😂 And Dan Heng is also wearing different cloths than Dan Feng 😅
Not just suspicion, it is pretty much confirmed at this point. There are plenty of collectable readables around the that confirm this. Also, that is why Jingliu wanted to see her.
Yeah Blade basically had white hair before because he was an old man at the time.... since he is not a long life species like the rest he aged quite a bit over the time that the High Cloud Quintet were active and well known. Sad that he was so close to the end of his own natural lifespan when he was cursed to never die, especially since he clearly wants to so badly.
