As an Appalachian I can nearly guarantee that Dubois would be pronounced Do-boys the moment the French lost the French and Indian war.

I just recently discovered this video. I was born in Virginia, raised in Kentucky, and attended graduate school in West Virginia. I have so much love and respect for the Appalachian region. I mainly value the sense of community there and the resilience and dedication of so many people from that area. Certain tabletop roleplaying games are among a few of my favorite hobbies! The concept of a TTRPG that is set in an eldritch horror version of Appalachia aligns so well with many of my interests! Thank you so much for your wonderful content! I appreciate your dedication to content that is friendly to LGBTQIA+ individuals; I use he/they! ^-^

Just saw yinz were doing this. Parents grew up in West Virginia. My father was a coal miner and so was hit father. My mother's parents were farmers in West Virginia just about in the shadow of the highest point in WV. I am looking forward to see what you come up.

I learned dnd via RU-vid, but i first played cypher. The dm will never need to roll, only set the dc. Players goal is to drop the difficulty as low as possible via skills, and environment. I haven't been so excited for a campaign since strixhaven!
