Thanks Lou for posting your thoughts, it's always nice to see what others are doing, especially for us relative newbies!

Good timing - I was just thinking about one of these, and read on the PG forum it wasn't getting great reviews. Mostly because people were claiming one simply couldn't weight shift in it. Maybe you're ok with that because you've gotten used to it, or maybe because you just don't do maneuvers ... I don't know. But if you feel like it, it'd be nice to know about that and the general comfort of it. Anyway, thanks for the updates and reviews. It's helpful.

I've had no problem with weight shifting. I also had the Progress 2 harness with the same split leg set up as well as the Apco split leg harness for paramotoring so maybe I'm just more used to it. Perhaps you can demo the harness from a dealer such as Superfly in Colorado. I was able to demo a couple of harnesses before I purchased the Progress 2 and would not go back to a seat plate again. My present paramotor harness has a seat plate and I keep thinking about replacing it with the Apco split harness again. As a matter of fact, as I think about it, I first hated the Apco harness but then grew to really like it! Good luck and thanks for watching.

I have an Easiness on order, should arrive next week. I've been on a seatboard so I'm interested to see how it goes.

@@asksteevs That''s great...just give it a chance to get used to the new feeling as it gives you a lot of good feedback from the wing.

Hi Lou, great video! Especially the fact that you took your time to show step by step all the features of the harness, packing and comparison of the two wings you use. I have one questions about the sizes of the equipment. I’m considering buying the Easiness 3 size L and pair it with Epsilon 9 size 26. What is the size of your Easiness harness and Epsilon wing?
@loums52
@loums52 2 года назад
Thanks for watching! I fly with the Epsilon 9 size 26 wing and the large Easiness 3. I'm 6 feet and 165 lbs. and the medium size in most harnesses is just a bit tight. I also have a large Progress 3 that fits well. The only caveat with the Easiness 3 with a regular size wing is the somewhat tight fit unless the wing is folded very well and compact. but it can be done. I think it would be that much tighter with the medium size harness. No problems with the lightweight wings like the Pi 2 I had. The wing and harness are great and happy flying with whatever you choose. Best wishes!

Many thanks, Lou, for a unique hands-on review of the Easiness 3. I just started pargliding 3 years ago, after my 60th birthday ... Got my eyes on the Easiness 3, to replace my Axess 3 and save some weight. Did you make a similar move, or were you always flying split-leg harnesses? Did I understand correctly that you had some problems fitting a normal reserve parachute under the seat? I have the Sky Systems 90 parachute, relatively small at 1.4Kg.

My first harness was the Progress 2 (also from Advance) and was a split leg. I also now have the Progress 3 which is again a split harness. I do like the split leg harness arrangement. The Easiness 3 is like the baby brother of the Progress 3. No problem with the reserve BUT much harder to pack a regular weight wing inside the Easiness 3 harness. It takes a lightweight wing much better (such as the Pi2). It takes a very precise pack to get a regular weight wing inside the harness. I now use the Advance Epsilon 9 wing with the Progress 3 harness but it is heavier! Thanks for watching.

Hi Lou, thanks for the comprehensive review. I am still having a hard time making up my mind between this one and Gin's Yeti Convertible 2. Did you have the chance to compare both?
@loums52
@loums52 3 года назад
I have not used the Gin Yeti though I dd try another reversible harness from Gin a few years back. Gin is also a great product and maybe a dealer can let you demo one (or both)? Wouldn't it be great to be able to always try the equipment before actually buying one! Perhaps there is a review online somewhere. You might check out the "Flybubble" website out of the UK as they do lots of reviews. I have even bought equipment from them. Nancy is wonderful to deal with and she may have an opinion on one vs. the other. She usually responds to emails very quickly but there is a time difference from the US. Best wishes and thanks for watching!

Hey Lou, can this harness easily fit into the overhead bin of a 737 or A320?
@loums52
@loums52 7 месяцев назад
I don’t know for sure. Never tried it but if any harness could then very possible. Maybe get measurements from the airline to verify. Good luck!🪂

The helmet sticking up may be a problem???

Do you think this harness would pack small enough to take as a carry on? I’m trying to find something to travel with small enough so that I don’t have to check it. Thanks!
@loums52
@loums52 3 года назад
I think it would BUT perhaps not with the helmet placed on top under the straps as it might be too long then. It also packs much more compact with a lightweight wing. It is really much smaller than my previous Progress 2 harness. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
