Hi... my name is Andrea, I'm writing to you from Venice, Italy... I'm 37 years old and I have three children... I've been practicing skateboarding for about a year and it's difficult for me... but I'm following your videos and I like yours way to go skeitbord and you give me courage to continue... thank you very much continue with your videos...
Daughter looks confident as she pushed off. not mongo so thats always a sure sign! ill be in a similar boat soon - excited to pass on my passion and hopefully its well received coz they wont have a choice!!! haha
She’s gradually gotten way more comfortable riding around here and there, it’s almost better that she casually learns because it’s always just about fun and not stressing over learning everything all at once like I did
Happy Father's Day Fellow Shred Heads... You ain't lying Bro.. you lose what you don't use. First time on a board after 25+ yrs. I fell off pushing. No pebble.. just lost balance while kicking.. LoL.
I remember feeling old when I was younger too. I tell myself that now when I feel old. Someday I’ll look back and be like “39?! wtf was I complaining about!” If I just keep doing that I can trick myself 😂
Hahah well they do have to make themselves usefull from time to time the little kiddohs haha and that florida man kinda segment 👌 this one was a comedy gold. Happy fathers day to you too dude 💪
there was a spot similiar to that first bank in a town near where i live. but with non grindable curbs. so exited when i found out about that. showed up to it a fiew months later. and it was gone. completely gone.. never got to skate it..
“use it or lose it” applies so much to me. I’m just learning all this stuff at 43 … I’ll learn a trick nose slide for example - do it for weeks and months every session. then learned board slides, worked on those a few weeks. Now I go back to nose slides and YEAH, I can do them- SOMETIMES. but they feel sketchy again and I have to work each session so try them to get them back again. same happens with boardslides if I don’t do any for a couple weeks. I try to explain to the wife - If I don’t practice at LEAST once a week - I start losing what I’ve worked so hard to learn. anyway - rad stuff as always dude 🔥🤙🏼🛹
I skate with homies here and there but as you probably know it’s a lot harder to meetup with folks when everyone has crazy schedules and obligations. I just get a session whenever I can, plus I kinda like skating alone a lot of the time so I can focus on what I’m trying and just forget about everything going on in the world. I did a video at some point explaining how it’s a totally different vibe skating with friends vs. solo
@@dadboard nice...anyway i also skate alone most of the time these days, have my own backyard miniramp & flatground, but im missin my friends, need someone for a great skate vibe as an old man haha. Keep it up
@@dadboard all the content is really good. From product reviews to checking out spots to what not. None of it gets old. Keep doing what you’re doing. if you like to follow other RU-vid skateboarders? there’s one from Georgia named big deck energy. He’s pretty good.
You look like Josh I forget your last name that I used to skate with back in the day in Roseville ca. I used to trade you dope Elwood clothes ,four star clothes ,some I path cats . Hell even my Nixon watch. Hmmm ring a bell?you look really familiar. 🤔
@@dadboard haha!!you do remember!!! wholly shit man yep long time!!good to see you’re still alive. 👊🏻happy Father’s Day Bud ,and congratulations on the fam. Your channel popped up on my feed and I was watching you and said to myself,NO WAY THATS JOSH !!!😂. RU-vid is pretty trippy sometimes. Keep up the good work good to see your doing well. Stay frosty 🍻🤙🏻
@@bgreat5111 yeah I remember you, man! Had some good sessions long before filming everything and smart phones took over! Hit me up if you’re on IG, man. Glad to see you’re well 👊
That 50-50 then down the slope was the first thing I thought of. Glad you got that one down. Looked nice Funny how something can seem so scary, then you do it and think “I was afraid of THAT?” Haha. Nice job
