I know. It makes me get teary eyed to watch him struggle. Maybe the hydro will help. And there are things that are made for dogs that are paralyzed in their hind legs. Maybe if it gets too bad, something like that would help Sherpa. We could all help pay for anything Jamie needs.

Dexter was so excited to see his grandad! Sherpa was even excited to see Sister Sarah! It’s too bad Nook is still on the mend. You could’ve put him in the van with Sherpa while you were in the restaurant. I love that Sherpa has such a beautiful home & garden for his retirement. What a mature and well-behaved Sherpa. He always follows Dad's brilliant ideas and I think so far he has accepted each of them positively after the check.😁 So nice to finally see everyone on a family trip again. The walk on the farm and the little pigs are absolutely cute. I think Sarah will soon have a new pink pet.😜 Wow, I love the food. It looked fantastic and I'm sure you all enjoyed it wonderfully. Jamie, Instead of building a small ramp cover the entire stairs with a large low incline wheelchair ramp, then he has no choice except to use the ramp..I know you are concerned about Sherpa and the mini car, him being able to get up on the seat and then get comfortable..but, Sherpa uses the backyard stairs multiple times a day and with his arthritis it has to be painful. Another suggestion use your front door, as I recall that door only has a threshold, no stairs...Just an idea..

I feel so bad that Sherpa has trouble getting up the stairs. But he did well on his walk. Love how he stopped to see the pigs. Need to carry extra shoes. Everything looks so yummy. Loves sleeping in his yard

I have a dehumidifier in my kitchen and I dry my washing faster with it on and my kitchen windows don't steam up 😅. Some advice wash the water container out occasionally as they can get a bit mucky and smell. Hope sherpa gets his hydro soon so that it can help him enjoy his garden.

Sherpy is quite like a senior person. My mum is slow and stiff when she gets up from sitting for a while, but once she gets a head of steam up she can go about in a pretty lively way. Just like when we see Sherpy wobbling a bit on the steps, but once he’s out and about he scampers around and is so joyful. Remember Sherpy, ageing is just another word for living x x

Jamie you are going to need to build Sherpa a ramp to make it easier on his hind legs,hips and back. I jyst got one for my furbub so she can get up and down couch and she loves it. Makes life so much easier for her. Its so hard when they get older😢

Oh, the joy of sharing birthdays with family. The food looks so yummy! My late mom, two aunts and I used to have birthdays all in a row. Mom and I celebrated together for a whole month: at home, school (she was a teacher) and on the road visiting family. Dexter is adorable! Looks like he's excited to have a second Grandpa. Seeing him struggle to get up you front steps, maybe it's about time to turn them into a ramp like you did at you mobile home. Just a few triangle bits of wood, would make it work for him.

I hate say it but Jamie really should consider building a ramp so it will be easier for Sherpa to get in and out of the house. I did that for my SkipJack when his hip/hind legs started giving out on him. I tried a half with ramp but after a week or so I covered the full with of the steps with the ramp

I really hope hydro will bring some change for Sherpa, it is sad to see he even has trouble with the stairs. I am starting my dinner/tea now, watching all that gorgeous food is making me hungry now 😊❤ Have you ever tried that Flexadin for Sherps?? I know it did work super for two of my older cats, expensive, yes, but it is a simple treat for them and it works super 👌🏻 🥰🥰🥰🥰🙋🏼‍♀️
